Our 40-day stay at Homewood Suites in Princeton was nothing short of extraordinary, and it is difficult to fully capture the depth of our gratitude for the entire team who made this chapter of our lives so meaningful. What began as an unexpected displacement due to a fireplace explosion and insurance claim quickly transformed into an experience filled with warmth, care, and genuine human connection. From the very first day, we were welcomed not as guests, but as family. While every team member played an important role, we would be remiss not to especially recognize Sandy, whose presence became a true cornerstone of our experience. The bond she formed with our 6-year-old daughter was incredibly special—one of those rare, genuine connections that goes far beyond hospitality. Sandy’s kindness, warmth, and attentiveness brought daily joy to our daughter and comfort to us as parents. It is a relationship we will always cherish. The front-of-house team—Sandy, Ida, Alyssa, and Omar—consistently greeted us with kindness, patience, and a sincere desire to make each day better than the last. Whether through her thoughtful preparation, consistency, or warm presence, she brought a sense of comfort and home to our daily routines. Behind the scenes, Maria and Jarvis, along with the entire back-of-house staff, upheld an exceptional standard of cleanliness and care. The property was consistently immaculate, and their dedication did not go unnoticed. What truly sets this location apart is the way the staff goes above and beyond in ways that cannot be trained—it comes from the heart. They didn’t just accommodate us; they celebrated life with us. Hosting our son’s first birthday in such a welcoming environment was incredibly special, and their willingness to approve and support a pool gathering for our daughter’s homeschooling co-op speaks volumes about their flexibility and generosity of spirit. The suite itself provided everything we needed to live fully—ample space, a well-equipped kitchen, and an environment where we could cook, eat, play, and simply be together without interruption. It allowed us to maintain a sense of normalcy and even joy during a time that could have easily felt stressful and displaced. This team didn’t just provide a place to stay—they created a home.
