Finding this place was fortunate. It was a long weekend - my wife, our daughter, and granddaughter. Our unit (Sandia) was the perfect size - 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchen with upscale appliances, dining room, living room, and terrace with a table and chairs. Lots of room. Plenty of light and power. Comfortable beds. Clean. Quiet. Sturdy. Breakfast was cooked-to-order, the right size and everyone got something they liked. Eclectic art everywhere and winding red brick paths between casitas and the desk. Convenient location at the southwest corner of Old Town. We did not try the hot tub but it looked great. Minor defects in fit and finish did not detract from the experience.

Excellent, unique b&b with multiple wonderful amenities appropriate for couples, singles, or families. We went as a couple to this lovely b&b. Had a "room" with two separate rooms, a sitting area with fireplace and TV, and a small kitchen including refrigerator/freezer, sink, microwave, cutlery, and plates, etc. One bedroom had an attached bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The on/off switch was pretty scaled and needed a lot of force to use, but otherwise was a wonderful experience. Better for one person than two, but two could conceivably use it. The other bedroom had a bathroom with a shower and there were heated floors. The bed I used was among the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The included breakfast was great. We didn't use it on the second day, and the cook noticed, ROFL! :) The menu had most things a breakfast would need, and they were yummy and well presented. The grounds are inviting. We went in February, so nothing was in bloom and we couldn't use the outdoor hot tubs, but I imagine they'd be really pretty in season. Staff were very friendly, open, and kind. I would absolutely recommend this for family groups, couples, or singles, or small business groups / writers' conferences, etc. It has all the perks. There are some areas showing some aging that might need some paint or upkeep, but otherwise, five stars.

“Charming”

Charming and unusual with lovely grounds. The rooms are comfy and spacious. The breakfast room is very pleasant and the cooked to order breakfast is good. All the people who work there are friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, just a short walk to Old Town.

It’s a beautiful property and in a very good location. Although it’s an old property and is historic, it’s well maintained and clean. The artifacts displayed in the lawns are beautiful and the garden fountains add a nice touch. The only improvement that could add value is the wood floor creaks a bit so fixing that would definitely improve the guest experience. A little oil in the hinges of the doors could also help.
