Great lunch here today, as usual. Love the addition of the flowers in the lobby and restuarant!, nice touch! Met Molly who created the arrangements, well done!

They did a great job with the upgrades and renovations with this property. Very clean and staff was very friendly. A special shout out to the bell hop staff...very pleased with their courtesy and shuttle service. The location is awesome as you are right on the beach with plenty of restaurant option… more

They did a great job with the upgrades and renovations with this property. Very clean and staff was very friendly. A special shout out to the bell hop staff...very pleased with their courtesy and shuttle service. The location is awesome as you are right on the beach with plenty of restaurant options. The only negatives were that only one elevator was working the entire weekend. Additionally, they need to add security to the pool area. There are issues with people (not hotel guests) coming up from the beach and crowding the pool facilities. Overall, very pleased and I will certainly stay at this property again.

I chose this hotel primarily for the beachfront location, and that part delivers. I'll also add that I've stayed here multiple times hoping the experience improves better each time. The beach access is convenient and the view from the property is genuinely nice. Unfortunately, most of the stay felt frustrating rather than relaxing. Check‑in at the front desk was slow and oddly disengaged. There was no sense of welcome, no explanation of amenities, and no effort to make the process feel smooth. It felt transactional and inattentive, which is not what I expect from a hotel in this price range. The elevators were consistently slow, with long waits even during off‑peak hours. This became especially noticeable when carrying bags or returning from the beach. The room itself showed its age. The television was an older model (LG) with no built‑in smart features, which meant no easy access to streaming services. That may seem minor, but it stood out. Cleanliness was another issue. The room was not dirty in an obvious way, but details were missed. Surfaces felt neglected and the overall presentation did not feel polished. The walls are extremely thin. Conversations, doors closing, and hallway noise were easy to hear, which made sleeping difficult. What bothered me most was the general atmosphere. The property did not feel especially warm or welcoming, and there was an underlying vibe that made it uncomfortable. Nothing overt happened, but the tone and interactions felt tense and impersonal. We also ate at Solstice. The menu prices are high, but the food did not match the cost. Portions were small, flavors were flat, and presentation felt uninspired. For what was charged, expectations were much higher. Lots of great dining options nearby. This hotel has a great physical location, but the experience does not match the setting. Without improvements to service, maintenance, and overall guest culture, I would not choose to stay here again. There are other beachfront options in the area that offer better value and a more welcoming experience.

“Late check in, early check out??”

I came here for a work trip and was very disappointed in the check in time. I arrived to town early and was trying to get into my room by 12, however was told they would try their best to get me in early, however that did not work out. I fact, I did not get to check in until way after the guarantee… more

I came here for a work trip and was very disappointed in the check in time. I arrived to town early and was trying to get into my room by 12, however was told they would try their best to get me in early, however that did not work out. I fact, I did not get to check in until way after the guaranteed check in time. Our room was not ready until closer to 5pm and check out is 10-am, which does not seem appropriate for such a late check in time. The rooms were basic but very clean. The "heated pool" was freezing and need of a major re-haul. It was a great location to be on the beach, but sadly could not enjoy much of it with a one night stay with such a late check in and early check out time.
