My girlfriend, step daughter, her brother and sister in law and I stayed at the Rivers Edge while visiting to attend a wedding. The host Marty was very charming and couldn't do enough for us. We rented both rooms, one a 1000 sq ft 1 bedroom and the other a 1200 sq ft 2 bedroom unit. Very spacious, and the grounds along the rivers edge are magnificent. We ate breakfast outside on the deck and the patio, and just chilled. The place was decorated with love by Marty and his wife with love. Lie in the hammock, watch the eagles and egrets and soak in the atmosphere. It doesn't get better than this.

My wife and I recently stayed and had a superior experience (this coming from a speaker and trainer on customer experience). Mary Lee was wonderful, down to the delivery of breakfast timed perfectly as the baked good came out of the oven. OMG - the blueberry muffins and raison cinnamon bread were amazing. The setting was wonderful. Sitting areas on the water, private and well kept. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay again on our next trip to Tiffin.

We recently stayed here for one night House beautifully located Wooded lot Lots of walkways and near river There's a fire escape and that takes guests up to rooms Marty the proprietor was waiting for us and was very friendly The suite had 2 bedrooms One double one queen Reminded me of an efficiency that people could rent Small kitchen area and living room One small bathroom The smell of mildew was overwhelming Reminded me of grandmas basement The mattresses were rough to say the least and the worse thing is they were noisy In either bed everytime you'd move they squeak The rooms looked like they hadn't been dusted in months Literally when would opened blinds and moved some articles there was dust and dead bugs When we first went into the first bedroom there was a dirty towel on the chair Some of the linens on the beds were also stained When I moved the curtain behind the bed to plug in my phone there were not only dead bugs but live ones crawling on window sill-gross Decided to grab linens out of closet to sleep on couch Those linens appeared to have burn holes in them The bathroom had someone's hair left in the tub, on shower curtain and on bottles left in tub-gross Some utensils in drawer had dried on food on it The property also has a play house on site It's like a little garden/reading area The carpet was so dirty we couldn't actually play in there It's a shame because I think the place has potential but I was disappointed and wouldn't return For 150$ night Id expect better
