“Very decent clean room.”

Nothing bad to say at all. After traveling for 12 hours in bad traffic from NJ it was nice to relax for a night. Slept so well forgot where I was.

This motel style (drive up to your door) earns Best In Class. For starters...the grounds are stunning and spotless. They look like Botanical Gardens. Not a weed to be found. Extensive display of rose bushes everyplace. Pruned to perfection. Other beds with beautiful periinneals. You will be shocked when you pull in. The clerk was a young man who was friendly and professional. The lady at am checkout was a joy . The breakfast room is small, spotless and well stocked. The offerings were plentiful. Perhaps not as extensive or as fancy with bacon. Sausage and hash browns as some but more than adequate. Juices, coffee. Yogurts, breads, bagels, muffins. Plenty of assorted cereals There were scrambled egg patties, mini biscuits and sausage gravy as well as "silver dollar as they are usually called pancakes. Fluffy and tasty. It was a good start to the day. The room was spotless. It smelled clean because it was. Not because it was sprayed down to smell clean. The walkway to the rooms lower level are carpeted. They were in good condition. The carpet in the room looked clean and no noticeable stains. The room was nicely appointed. The drapes were stylish and in good repair. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The AC worked well. The TV was large with good channels with some unusual and subtle lighting over the TV. The same hidden lighting is built in behind the headboard. Excellent low level, very relaxing. Sheets and comforter clean and crisp. Towels clean thick and plentiful. Nice remodel of bathroom. Tub gone and replaced with walk in shower with frameless glass doors. They supply shampoos and body wash in dispensers attached to the wall. The refrigerator was ice cold and even had freezer compartment. The micro worked as intended. NOTE: There is no in room coffee maker. We bring our own travel pot so it was a non issue for us. The only little annoyance is due to the age of this beautifully redone vintage motel the walls are very thin. I was sitting up in bed reading and could hear every word of a woman talking on her phone. The walls are paper thin. But the building was probably from the 1960's or 70's and probably built to specs of the time. We also may have simply had a room next to an extremely loud talker. We slept well in spite of it. It was a lovely stay from top to bottom. We are well traveled and it can be difficult to find a clean, well appointed lodging with more than 3.1 stars in reviews. We have stayed at 5 star 400.00 a night hotels that were not as spotless as this motel. The reviews of lodging in our cities especially along major roads or corridors are appalling. It does not seem to work when staff are all family and live at the inn and corners are cut. There should be no varying degree of standards weather it's a cheap rooming house or a 5 star hotel. Spotless is spotless. Many places should not be in this kind of business. But the SureStay Best Western in Manning could be a model. It does not have to be 5 star elegant palace to give 5 star service and cleanliness. This place proves that. We will look forward to seeing you again in the Fall when heading to our winter home in FL. Please compliment your gardner and keep up your good work and standards.
