“Great hotel”

Pleasant unexpected stop due to weather. Front staff very friendly, room spacious and clean. Excellent Breakfast that consisted of sausage,omelette, boiled eggs, red potatoes. Scones bread, waffles, fruit. Definitely would stay again.

Tim is an employee that should make Hilton proud. The five star review is for employees like Tim not for the property or the management. We checked in at 6:30 am on 1/12. We had just driven 16.5 hours straight. We only had 4.5 hours of our reservation left. We asked for our reservation to be extended for another day at least. We were told they were over booked and had no rooms. I requested a late check out. I was told 12:30 was the latest we could have. So we had to unload all our stuff for 6 hour stay that cost $175+. I was wound up from the drive and couldn’t go to sleep. Around 8 I called from desk and spoke to Tim. I explained the situation and he said no promises but he’d try and move someone to the “sister property” so we could stay the day and sleep. He called me back at 12:00 pm and said we could extend our reservation for one more day. I passed out. When my husband woke me it was nighttime. I reached out to the front desk to see if they had managed to extend our stay. They hadn’t. Let’s talk about the property itself. This property recently has gone through renovation, but it only has two luggage carts, for 70 plus rooms. One elevator that worked (second one has been broken since October 2025. Elevator buttons that don’t light up when inside the one working elevator. No fitness room available. As for the new remodeled room, they forgot to do the restrooms. They have antiquated tubs to step in that are extremely slick. The sheets are too small for the beds, they ride up and pop off. I will say the beds are comfortable. The blackout blinds aren’t blackout. The tv remote needed new batteries. The property didn’t even have bottled water for their Honors guest. How is that possible? Property management Tommy needs help to manage two properties. Sister hotel in same parking lot Holiday Inn Express.

Last night was my 9th Hilton/Hampton stay this year--I typically stay at Hamptons because I know what I'm going to get. But not this time. I checked in and got to our room, but it wasn't the room type we reserved. I went back down to the front desk, and then they told me that they were overbooked and I had moved to an accessible room. Overbooking happens, but could no one have called me? Maybe offered some other room types? If not, why couldn't they have told me all this when I checked. Things happen, and I'll still stay loyal to Hamptons. But not this property.
