This was our third time to enjoy this beautiful B&B with several couples. We love the Stables where each couple has a comfortable room and en-suite bathroom. Of course the amazing breakfast is a highlight, too. The large dining table works for games as well as the dinner we cooked for the second night. Dinner the first night was outstanding as always in the restaurant. Be sure to make reservations.

Beautiful and romantic destination. We stumbled across this on trip advisor when we drove from Dallas to Tyler. The people, the grounds, the restaurant and winery were fantastic. We stayed in the stable house and the room was small but still great with a nice bathroom and great bedding. This is a great getaway for couples and small groups, and we would love to comeback. The wine was the best Texas wine we have ever had

“Such a good time that I will return in the spring!”

I needed an overnight getaway from my home in Shreveport, and I found the perfect place for it! Kiepersol Winery, Restaurant, and B&B were wonderful! My experience in the Tasting Room, sampling Kiepersol wines for the first time, was enjoyable and fun. Kevin helped me learn about the wines I tasted, and after the sampling I enjoyed a glass of Zinfandel on the outside covered patio overlooking the vineyards. The day was sunny, and I enjoyed relaxing with good wine and a beautiful view. Then I checked into the B&B (I was in the Sonoma Room) and relaxed a bit more before dinner. My room was pleasant and comfortable. And what a nice surprise to see that the toiletries were L'Occitane products, in the fragrance I often use at home (Verveine). I have only two suggestions: (1) No facial tissues were supplied. When I asked the woman who had shown me to my room if I could please have a box of tissues, we went to the supply closet a few doors away from my room and she discovered that there were no boxes there--only small travel packs of tissues. She gave me two packs, which were barely sufficient for my makeup removal needs and my allergy-related sneezing episodes. (2) The second suggestion I have relates to the absence of a Keurig (or similar coffee maker) in the room. Like many people, I need coffee to jump start my system; and I'd rather not have to walk out to the restaurant in my PJs and bathrobe, without makeup, to obtain my caffeine jolt. However, that is what I had to do. If an in-room coffee maker is not possible, perhaps an arranged delivery of a cup or two of java at a pre-established time could be set. This review is becoming quite lengthy, so I will provide only a few more comments. The restaurant was a wonderful experience; the service, attention to detail, food, and wine were outstanding. I ate too much, but that was my choice! In conclusion, I plan to return to Kiepersol in the spring; and I will stay two nights. Everyone on the Kiepersol staff was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I was treated as a valuable solo guest who cared about Kiepersol, its history, wines, food, and ambiance. And in return, of course, I care about the Kiepersol legacy and its continuing success as a boutique winery.

Our room was lovely and we had a large porch with a sitting area with two chairs and a table. Also, a "swinging" sofa - it was private and delightful. Bed was very comfortable. Toilet handle did not work well, and the only chair in our room was a dining room chair (two) which was not comfortable… more

Our room was lovely and we had a large porch with a sitting area with two chairs and a table. Also, a "swinging" sofa - it was private and delightful. Bed was very comfortable. Toilet handle did not work well, and the only chair in our room was a dining room chair (two) which was not comfortable to lounge in, although it was handy for putting on shoes. I suggested to the manager that a comfortable chair is a better option for their rooms than hard dining room chairs. Another couple walked up after I spoke to the manager in a low voice. He turned his back and then faced the couple as they came close. He did not acknowledge my concern. He was displeased with my comments. That was disappointing although I did not want to put him in an uncomfortable position. Probably won't return.
