Pizzaology was an absolute gem during our recent trip with friends for Wine Tasting! This cozy pizza pub won us over with its warm, inviting atmosphere and great service. The pizzas were a revelation, with perfectly crispy crusts and fresh, high-quality toppings; the prosciutto and arugula pizza was a group favorite, bursting with flavor! We also loved their local wine selection, which paired beautifully with the meal. Came here once when it was Zeeks, but this is far superior.

“Functional, if a little uninspiring.”

This is a functional hotel. Stayed here for 4 nights whilst on business in the area. Check in was a smooth affair. I was recognised as a gold member and offered a complimentary snack and some water. I was off to my room quickly and efficiently. I stayed at the end of the hallway, on the second floor. My room overlooked the car park. It was a large and comfortable room, with a comfortable bed. The room, small kitchen area and bathroom was clean and tidy and in good working order. The kitchen area had a fridge, sink, coffee machine, with a good selection of coffees. Also worth noting the free and plentiful supply of coffee available in reception - a welcome perk. The room wasn’t the quietest room. You could hear footsteps from upstairs and the flushing of toilets from other rooms also audible, when the room was quiet (particularly noticeable at night). Sound isolation (or lack of) might be an issue for some, but it wasn’t problematic for me and some might not even notice it at all. There is no bar / restaurant at the premises, but there are snacks and some alcohol available from the treats shop. This should keep those late night hunger pangs at bay, but due to the location (it’s a bit “out on its own”.), it would be nice to have a bar or some actual food available. You’re going to need to drive or uber anywhere decent for restaurants / conveniences etc. Breakfast was complimentary and as such, wasn’t the most plentiful. There was a small hot food offering, a waffle station and a small selection of bread / bakery items. A nice selection of juices (dispensed from a machine) and of course, the plentiful coffee noted earlier. It was ok, if not great. The seating area was limited though, so avoid busy times. They could do with more seating for breakfast. I ended up taking mine up to my room. Small note - I was disappointed to see disposable plates and cutlery. I appreciate it was recyclable, but it was basically put in the trash. I hope the hotel is recycling that trash, otherwise it’s hugely wasteful and I would expect better. I would much preferred to have had my breakfast from a proper plate - but I guess that this isn’t that sort of hotel. Check out was seamless, quick and easy. All in all, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Everyone, including maid service always offered a friendly face and a chirpy hello. For the price paid and the comfort level, it was functional and convenient for where I needed to be for my trip, if a little uninspiring. Deducting a star for the noise from adjoining rooms (guess I was a little unlucky), not being able to find a seat at breakfast on my first day and that the shower ran cold after a few minutes on the first morning, but I didn’t encounter that problem again - so didn’t report it.

“Water pressure and water temperature are not good.”

Hotel location is fine and breakfast is good. However, the deal breaker is the water pressure and water temperature. The water pressure in my room was a trickle and the water never warmed up past luke warm. In addition, the noise from the highway is very loud in the room to the windows being poo… more

Hotel location is fine and breakfast is good. However, the deal breaker is the water pressure and water temperature. The water pressure in my room was a trickle and the water never warmed up past luke warm. In addition, the noise from the highway is very loud in the room to the windows being poorly sealed. If you are staying in this hotel for business and require a shower and good nights rest, I would find somewhere else to stay.
