“Clean and comfy”

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room we had was very spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful when we needed anything. We were impressed with the free breakfast also. Waffles, bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, and more. We would definitely return. I do wish it had a hot tub.

“Nice Hotel with a few Misses”

This is a new hotel in a quiet location with a nicely landscaped exterior. Set up for extended stay the room was large with a full kitchen nicely decorated and the room itself was clean. This is a new hotel in a quiet location with a nicely landscaped exterior. Set up for extended stay the room was large with a full kitchen nicely decorated and the room itself was clean. The breakfast was above average. The reason for 4/5 stars were because staff was not overly friendly. The public areas were not very clean and looked neglected with both elevators appearing as if they haven't been mopped in a week. Building also had the appearance of being cheaply constructed. Next time we are in Lewisburg we would probably give them another try.

Hotel has potential of being a 5 but lack of attention in the common areas makes it average. On the plus side, the rooms were nice and clean. The full size refrigerator is a plus. The fitness center has decent equipment. The guest laundry comes in handy and the staff was friendly. However, the garbage outside the front door and in the hall by the elevator on our floor were both overflowing when we arrived and hadn't been emptied by the time we left. We noticed something spilled on the elevator floor when we checked-in and it was still there the next morning when we checked-out. The stairwell also needed vacuumed. Something else that we used to really look forward to for breakfast were the pre-made individually wrapped sandwiches. Not sure if all Home2 hotels have discontinued to offer them but this particular hotel only had a build your own sandwich station. The quality of food that was offered was subpar. Whatever method they used to keep the food hot, made the food soggy and unappetizing. For an overnight stop it will do, just not the usual Hilton cleanliness that we have come to appreciate. Also, disappointed in the breakfast.

I booked this because it was a fairly new hotel, plus it has a full refrigerator in the room, so a place to keep my freezer packs frozen (to keep insulin cold while traveling cross country) and any other items we wanted for the 4 days there. I checked the freezer at the beginning of the 2nd day and not only was our ice cream soft, but the freezer packs were also thawing. We notified the front desk first thing, and they said they would have Maintenace check it out. We came back later that evening and it was still not working correctly - front desk couldn't tell if maintenance had checked it out. Breakfast was a disappointment - they have good fairly healthy options, but many items were out and not refilled at 8 in the morning!! Seems they need a few more people working the breakfast station to keep things stocked, especially on busy weekends when families are there.
