We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway and this place delivered. Looking forward to returning and checking out more of the land and outdoor activities available during the summer or fall.

The spa was just as great as the rest of the place was. My wife had an amazing time at Hidden Serenity. The property is tucked away, surrounded by beautiful woods and peaceful scenery. Even the drive in sets the tone—it’s quiet, welcoming, and instantly relaxing. The atmosphere is wonderful. The entrance opens into a spacious, inviting area, and from the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with genuine graciousness and care. Sally explained everything in great detail and was incredibly kind in answering all of our questions. As you look around, you start to notice the thoughtful touches everywhere. It’s clear that Sally, Chris, and their family have poured a tremendous amount of love and attention into fine-tuning every part of the property. We stayed in “Quiet Oaks” — just awesome. The room had everything we needed, including a modern record player with a collection of classics that Sally and Chris have enjoyed over the years. I loved that touch. Every detail in the room felt intentional and comforting. The entire facility is immaculate. We enjoyed board games, walking the property, frisbee golf, and a cozy bonfire on a beautiful fall evening. This is truly a perfect time of year to visit, with the trees displaying incredible fall colors. There are also plenty of activities nearby—Northern Kettle Moraine has some amazing hikes. We hiked to Parnell Tower, which was wonderful. We brought our bikes, though you can also rent them, and rode the Lake to Lake Trail to Dundee. On Sally’s recommendation, we stopped at 3 Sweets Bakery and Café. It’s a charming, beautiful spot where we enjoyed coffee and a few rounds of cribbage. Highly recommended. Finally, I can’t express enough how amazing the spa experience was—the steam room, hot tub, and sauna were all exceptional. There’s a reason this place is so highly rated. The food is fantastic, the service is among the best I’ve ever experienced, and the property is impeccable. Breakfasts are especially memorable, with great conversation and wonderful stories from Sally and Chris. You meet new people and leave feeling renewed and at peace. We will definitely be back—hopefully sooner rather than later. Thank you, Sally and Chris, for all your hard work in creating such an incredible experience! Tom and Debbie

It's taken me a while to write this review, because I didn't want to say anything negative about the experience at this bed and breakfast. The innkeepers were very nice, as was the room. But, I do have to comment about the breakfast. My husband and I have dietary preferences which are easiest to communicate as vegetarian. The website says "it is our pleasure to accommodate Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian, or Vegan diets." The breakfast was light for vegetarians. As I looked around, the other guests had a breakfast meat on their plate. We did not seem to have any extra protein or vegetables on our plate as vegetarians. It reminded me of the early days of eating vegetarian where there was an empty spot on the plate where the meat was "supposed to be". This was true for both days that we had breakfast at the inn. Sadly, I cannot recommend the breakfast for a vegetarian.
