“A wonderful peaceful holiday”
We stayed for two weeks, when most people stay for just a couple of days. We used our time in Franschoek to visit many of the local wineries and Val d' Or is perfect to do so. It is four miles from the centre, but Uber taxis are very cheap and you don't want to visit wineries and drive! Take tim… more

Perfect Location in a beautiful setting. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room, although well equipped and beautifully furnished, is in need of some maintenance. “Daylight robbery”
What you see online is not what you get . I was expecting a stunning room with modern finishes as per pictures but instead got a very old big room with furniture that looked 50 years old. Not worth the price I paid at all. Excellent location though.
