City of origin - Nairobi

Day 1: Departure with destination Nairobi. Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to the hotel. Check-in before noon is not guaranteed. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Nairobi - Masai Mara

Day 2: Breakfast. Pick-up at the hotel and departure by road to the Masai Mara National Reserve. After a short journey, we'll get to the Great Rift Valley and briefly stop off at a viewing point to admire a spectacular panoramic view. After the stop, onward journey down the Great Rift Valley, passing through the settlement of Mai Mahiu and the town of Narok. Arrival at the lodge at lunchtime. Photo safari at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Masai Mara

Day 3: Full-day safari, with the option to leave at dawn and return to the lodge for lunch, or to take a picnic lunch and spend the whole day on safari. Full board and overnight stay at the lodge.

Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha

Day 4: After breakfast, departure to Lake Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, boat ride on the lake. Rest of the afternoon at your leisure, with the chance of optional activities or a visit to Crescent Island (payable locally). Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Lake Naivasha - Amboseli

Day 5: Breakfast. Drive out towards Amboseli through the typical African savannah dotted with local farms and colourful Masai herders grazing their cattle. Arrival in time for lunch at the lodge. Photo safari in the park, followed by dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Amboseli - Nairobi - Zanzibar

Day 6: Early breakfast and departure for a brief photo safari through the park. Then departure to Nairobi, arrival and transfer to the airport. Flight from Nairobi to Zanzibar. Arrival and transfer from the airport to the selected hotel in Zanzibar. Free time. Overnight stay.

  • Please check with your international vaccination centre about the recommended healthcare measures in Kenya.
  • Please bring soft suitcases for transport reasons to Kenya. Hard-sided suitcases are not allowed.
  • It is recommended to avoid storing belongings in plastic bags both in checked bags and in hand luggage before flying to Kenya. In this country you can not introduce any type of plastic bag. Failure to comply with the law can lead to fines and up to two years in jail.
  • Triple rooms in Africa are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.
  • Check-in time at the hotel on the day of arrival depends on each establishment, but in no case will it be before 3:00 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.
  • Children under 12 years of age are not accepted.
  • It is recommended that luggage for the safari be in a soft bag and not exceed 15kg per person. Excess luggage can be left at the base hotel in Nairobi until your return to the same hotel. When this is NOT possible, the host agency can store it at their offices throughout the safari at an extra cost of USD 50. This price includes luggage collection from the hotel and delivery to wherever passengers need it at the end of the safari, whether at the hotel or the railway station.
  • In public places in Zanzibar, tourists must cover their bodies from shoulders to knees (both men and women). Failure to comply with these regulations can lead to fines of up to 700 dollars, or even more.

This insurance must be obtained through the website www.visitzanzibar.go.tz, where once registration and payment have been completed, a QR code will be provided which must be presented before embarking for Zanzibar.
  • The order of the itinerary may be altered for logistical reasons, without prior notice, but no scheduled trips will be cancelled (except in the case that adverse weather conditions prevent its realisation).
  • A credit card is considered a guarantee, so sometimes you will need one for check-in at hotels.
  • Prices are calculated based on admission fees to the sights as of the date of publication. If there is an increase in these prices, you will be promptly informed.
