Malta - Mdina - Rabat - Mosta - Malta

Day 3: Breakfast. Departure for Mdina, located in the heart of the island. Known as the ‘Silent City’, Mdina stands out for having one of the most impressive architectural ensembles in Malta, along with Valletta and Rabat. This historic city, the former capital of the country, is like an open-air museum. Perched on a hill, it is made up of patrician buildings, Baroque churches, convents, palaces and narrow streets. After leaving Mdina through the Greeks Gate, the tour continues in Rabat, where you can explore the catacombs of the early Christians. Afterwards, there is a stop at the Dingli Cliffs, one of the highest points on the island, offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. Lunch en route. In the afternoon, visit the San Antón Botanical Gardens, located next to the Presidential Palace, whose façade can be admired from the outside. The next stop is the Ta' Qali craft centre, where traditional crafts such as lace, weaving, glass blowing and silverwork are on display. Finally, we'll be dazzled by the majestic dome of the neoclassical church of Santa Maria in Mosta, which is 67 metres high and 37 metres in diameter, one of the largest in Europe. Day 4: Breakfast. Departure by bus to the Cirkewwa pier at the westernmost point of the island. A 25-minute crossing and disembarkation at Mgarr, Gozo's main port. From the boat, we can see Comino, another island in the Maltese archipelago, where only one family lives. Visit the megalithic temples of Ggantija, structures that predate the pyramids of Egypt. Afterwards, visit the medieval citadel of Victoria (Rabat) and stop at Xlendi Bay and Dwejra Bay, both of stunning natural beauty, where you will find Fungus Rock, an islet connected to the mainland by a strip of land. Gozo is renowned for its handicrafts, handmade lace and embroidered garments. Visitors are impressed by the island's lush countryside, its serene atmosphere and its difference from Malta, the largest island in the archipelago. Lunch en route. Return journey to the hotel and overnight stay.

Important remarks

  • Babies up to 2 years old in Malta must share the bed with adults. In case you need a cot, or any other additional service, you will have to request it at each hotel and it will be a direct payment.
  • Triple rooms in Europe are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.
  • During congresses and special events, the confirmed hotels and other accommodations may be different to those indicated.
  • During the circuit by Europe, only one suitcase and one carry-on bag per person are allowed.
  • Check-in time at the hotel on the day of arrival depends on each establishment, but in no case will it be before 3:00 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.
  • The order of visits varies depending on the day of arrival: Mdina: Tuesdays and Fridays; Three Cities: Wednesdays and Saturdays; Valletta: Mondays and Wednesdays; Gozo: Saturdays and Thursdays; South of the island: Fridays.
  • The order of the itinerary may be altered for logistical reasons, without prior notice, but no scheduled trips will be cancelled (except in the case that adverse weather conditions prevent its realisation).
  • A credit card is considered a guarantee, so sometimes you will need one for check-in at hotels.
  • Prices are calculated based on admission fees to the sights as of the date of publication. If there is an increase in these prices, you will be promptly informed.
  • If you are a person with reduced mobility, please contact us to confirm the suitability of the trip.
