Java with volcano trekking

The Java Volcanoes Route

Java is an island where volcanoes and archaeological complexes coexist. In this tour we will get to know these two sides of the island. On the one hand, we will visit the most important temples: Prambanan and Borobudur. On the other hand, we will trek to the craters of the two most important volcanoes: Bromo and Ijen. We will finish our journey crossing the Strait of Bali, from Ketapang to Gilimanuk. Finally, a few days of relaxation on the beaches of the south of the island. Shall we go?

Important remarks

- Triple rooms in Indonesia are generally rooms with twin beds or a double, in which a folding bed is installed to accommodate the third person. Due to the inconvenience this causes, we advise against using this option as far the possible.

- The baggage allowance on domestic flights of most airlines in India is usually 15 kg per person, so lower than on international flights. Please take account of this when packing your bags.

- Please check with your international vaccination centre about the recommended healthcare measures in Indonesia.

- Indonesia is a Muslim country and the month of Ramadan is of major significance to its residents. During Ramadan, entertainment and alcohol will be restricted in most of the country. The sale of alcohol will be restricted in many places, although some establishments will offer alcohol for sale to tourists. During this period, local businesses may also have shorter opening hours.

- Depending on the return flight, the trip may be one day longer.

- To reconfirm services at the destination, please send us your passport details within 24 hours of booking.

- Please check which documents are required to enter the country.

- As of May 2022, the Borobudur and Prambanan monuments can only be visited from the outside, with no access to the structures.

- The order of the itinerary may be altered for logistical reasons, without prior notice, but no scheduled trips will be cancelled (except in the case that adverse weather conditions prevent its realisation).

- A credit card is considered a guarantee, so sometimes you will need one for check-in at hotels.

- Prices are calculated based on admission fees to the sights as of the date of publication. If there is an increase in these prices, you will be promptly informed.

- If you are a person with reduced mobility, please contact us to confirm the suitability of the trip.
