We had an absolutely wonderful time at this resort!! The beach is beautiful, the food was fantastic (Mario’s was our personal favorite!), the people were very friendly and helpful, very clean and well maintained- we can’t wait to come back!!

Absolutely fantastic 11 nights at Sandals Antigua. Full disclosure, we are not Sandals groupies who cycle round all the Sandals resorts, we were first timers so this is a “virgin” review! We booked a Butler Penthouse one bedroom suite in the Mediterranean side mainly because I did not want any grief about getting up early to get sunbeds - I did that for 20 years when we holidayed with out kids, I ain’t doing it now I’m a proper grown up! Our room was amazing, huge, super comfy bed, massive bathroom area, lovely living area with lots of sofas etc and a large balcony with awesome views of Dickenson Bay. All the top shelf liquor I asked for, even though we barely touched it! A fridge with all the beers and soft drinks you could wish for, and 24:7 room service which we took advantage of 3 times. Spent lots of time at the main pool area, interacted with a wide variety of folks from the UK and all areas of the US. The beach is just awesome, we’d head to the sea a couple of times a day from the pool. Beautiful views. The restaurants are all amazing - Eleanor’s we found was exceptional for specific ordered breakfast (lobster omelette is to die for) and fab dinner, Bayside and Maria’s excellent for buffet breakfast, Courtyard Bistro for lunch and snacks, OK corral great for Tex mex, and Mario's dinner with the self service antipasti starters were just amazing. Special mentions go to Soy for amazing sushi and Kimonos for a hibachi meal Cooked by a super entertaining chef and fire starter called Jason - he was just amazing! Our butlers were Geoffrey, Seffra and Marvin, all of whom were superb. I’m sure we could have used them a bit more but we’re not as demanding as many others so overall the butler service really worked for us. The grounds are extensive and beautiful, You can get 7000 steps a daily in just by walking the resort with all the lovely seating areas, fire pits, swing seats etc. I have to say having travelled extensively around the world I Cs day hand in heart that the staff here are wonderful, Super friendly, polite and always appear happy to be there for you. Couple of other bits of advice - the 360 island tour on the catamaran via Island routes was awesome - I went snorkelling on the reef at Green Island where we saw turtles and beautiful fish. For $296 per couple we felt this was really good value. If you need cash while on the island the casinos in St John’s are easy to access for ATMs as well as other banks nearby. We went into town once, it’s ok, but we found we had exhausted our time there after a couple of hours. So to summarise, a wonderful relaxing Mistry holiday with great staff, food options, lovely resort grounds. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Sandals resort, Antigua Island. We would like to say that we found the beach and the resort beautiful. The service, Food and beverages were very good with some people like Stacey at the Bayside restaurant that was better than good and very warm. With that said, we must point out that the concierge service was non- existent ( we had to go three times to the office for restaurant reservations, nobody phoned us as it had been promised and we finally got two restaurants at the reception desk) Consequently we had to eat six times either at Mario’ s or the Bayside since we could only reserve two restaurants. When we tried to talk to somebody in charge, we finally came to talk to Julienne, in charge of customer service, (two people phoned us before offering a complimentary cabana, sth that we didn’t want as we only wanted to be listened to) and she listened to what we had to say and apologised for the inconvenience very politely. We feel that what happened to us could have been avoided if someone had done his/her job at the beginning and our evaluation would have been even better. All in all the resort was very good. Downtown St John’s, on the other hand, was a bit disappointing as regards shopping quality or services. It didn’t look too organized or clean

We stay here for 11 night and it is such a beautiful hotel the beach and sea is probably the nicest we have seen in the Caribbean and the hotel and grounds are immaculate all in all we had a lovey holiday the restaurant are good bayside was probably our favourite but all were good however we found some of the waitresses in Mario’s were not to helpful and everything seemed a bit of a core to them like asking for a fresh knife and fork for your main course and asking for a drink when not offered one but everyone has a bad day sometimes . Also the people on the beach selling stuff can get annoying we seen one man take a drink out of someone’s icebox but this isn’t on the hotel it’s out of there control. But over all the staff were lovey attentive and helpful . The drinks and cocktails were really good Kahdeem makes the best margaritas and hummingbirds they are really good thank you.overall it is a romantic beautiful resort that I would definitely recommend to people
