Pousada Butias

“Very nice place”

It was a very good place. The pool was very nice, had a deep and shallow end. The beach was very nice and clean. Service was good, at breakfast they were very attentive. Food was good. Beer was cold!! I would recommend this to anyone, many families there also.

Well. . . .i thought this overpriced at £130 a night, I think most all the other guests were on a weekly package. . . .but we were given a front facing room with balcony on the third floor. . . Well. . . .i thought this overpriced at £130 a night, I think most all the other guests were on a weekly package. . . .but we were given a front facing room with balcony on the third floor. . . My wife said " shut up and pay or take more interest in the booking of hotels before we go on holiday" The staff were very friendly. The only two reception staff I encountered spoke great English. Breakfast was a bit hectic, but manageable. The hotel is right on the beach, which must be a plus. The beach had a red flag flying and I nearly got into difficulty in the waves, the lifeguard who came to me was charming and friendly, and though didn't speak English I soon understood what idiot was in Portuguese. Overall a nice hotel, made all the nicer by the friendliness of the staff.

“Amazing place in a beutifull beach!!!”

Everithing in Pousada Butias is fantastic, first of all,the people who works there,everybody make your best efford to you spend your best vacations. Everithing in Pousada Butias is fantastic, first of all,the people who works there,everybody make your best efford to you spend your best vacations. The rooms are modern and very functional,maybe could have a more complete kitchen but is not a problem. The beach and the pool are wonderfull. Near to the Pousada there are 3 restaurantes where you can eat very well and is not expensive. Uber works realy good and is cheaper than taxi. We were 3 familis, 6 adults and 6 children and we spend amazing days.

“Amazing Beachfront Location!”

Stayed 3 nights in Pousada Butias in August 2016 and really enjoyed it. The location is perfect - a leisurely 30-40min stroll along the beach to the town centre, but far enough away so that you feel as if you have the beach to yourself. We walked to the town for lunch, and then ate dinner in any one of the 3 great little restaurants in the small community around the hotel (they are all in the same street, less than 5mins walk from the pousada). The rooms were spacious and all completely modern, staff extremely friendly, and great breakfast. Food and drinks available throughout the day from the hotel restaurant, and very well priced. The only aspect which could be improved is to have a small table and chairs in the rooms, as there is certainly plenty of space for it.
