The staff was attentive, friendly and accommodating, with a special shout out to Clayton (luggage and front desk) and Tamires (Westin Cafe). The food was hands down the best culinary experience! Amazing flavors, high quality products, delicious regional dishes, I could go on and on. The location was superb, truly a paradise.

Westin Porto de Galinhas     This is our first vacation at Westin Porto de Galinhas and our four-week stay is about to end in a couple of days. As with our stay this January at JW Marriott Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana, we start with the conclusion: Excellent! The location of the hotel right in front of the midpoint of one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen, and we travelled the world over many time, is simply, fantastic. Our suite 515 in front of the swimming pool and with ocean view is well appointed and very comfortable. The swimming pool, and we swam one hour every morning before breakfast, is great for lap swimming and well maintained. We could walk or jog on the beach every day for 7-8 km on either side back and forth. We are experienced and sophisticated higher-end travelers, we visited more than 70 countries, many 20 times over, and all these years we have rarely had the benefit of hotel and restaurant services more dedicated to clients and committed to excellence than the staff at Westin Porto de Galinhas! Imagine the Executive and Operating Management of the resort, Director Ana Helena, General Manager Guido, Hospitality Manager Adrian, Food and Beverages Manager Edgar, and Restaurant Supervisor Javier and Hospitality Supervisor Priscilla leading by example by always being available and crisscrossing the complex to inquire and attend to clients’ needs, and it is obvious why this is such an exceptional organization: total commitment to perfection, reflective of accumulated expertise, experience, dedication to client satisfaction and overall professionalism! Truly exceptional! There are several restaurants, Tuna and Velas being our favorite, but Galinhas and Marketplace are also very good. Juliana and Jose, at Velas and Galinhas, together with Claudiana and Claudienada have always pampered us, so did Geison in charge of Tuna together with Valdir and the more recent hires, Chris and Elinado who are already showing great promise. There is also the Food Truck, which not only serves tasty food, but also has the advantage of being run by Jose Ramos with his exceptional conviviality. What can we say about Tamiris at Westin Café whose interpersonal skills make her an exceptional presence for us the clients. Of course, we should mention Alan, Chef, and the constantly smiling Edna and Rafaela whose egg and tapioca preparations are unsurpassed. Exceptional! What can we say about Ronaldo at the APO Bar! We passed by every night, even if we did not drink, just to enjoy the pleasure of his company, what an exceptional professional. So is Mario, usually at the Oasis Bar, with his constant welcoming smile. The Heavenly Spa led by Sabrina with the assistance of Daniela and Alba provides an exceptional experience you would not want to miss. The housekeeping team lead by Sueny, including Patricia and Vanessa, is also exceptional, always anticipating our needs. Very good nightly entertainment, after all Brazilians are born musicians in addition to being the best footballers! We must mention Gleyton and Marcelo, the first representatives of Westin we met when entering the hotel, and what a positive impression they make, we knew right away that we made the right choice! So are Julio, Carla and Paolo at the reception. In fact, the entire Westin team excels with its professionalism, expertise and commitment to perfection. “Great food and great experience”

We had a very nice and thoughtful created food tasting menu which we both enjoyed. Not only the food but also wine pairing and service was excellent. Elinaldo, Chris and team did a great job!!

Nice location, beautiful beach and warm ocean waters, very green area, good choice of food and drinks- highly appreciate !! It is your place if: - if you speak Portuguese language, because, except for one person alone at reception, no-one else speaks any different language… It is hell of a thing to… more

Nice location, beautiful beach and warm ocean waters, very green area, good choice of food and drinks- highly appreciate !! It is your place if: - if you speak Portuguese language, because, except for one person alone at reception, no-one else speaks any different language… It is hell of a thing to explain if you need anything, except for water… It is an absurd for a Marriott hotel to experience communication problems with senior staff!!!! Everything is offered, displayed and announced in Portuguese language- spoken and written, and I really cannot understand why they do accept foreigners in this property…. It will be far better to ban accommodation of foreigners! - if you are traveling with kids- plenty of entertainment for Portuguese speaking kids, and no space for adults, especially if they don’t speak the language… It looked as a children’s Summer Camp rather than a 5 * Marriott hotel, with children occupying the adults pool, playing in the pool and around, noise and hustle all around the area.. - if you are looking for comfort and easy going evenings, where you can sip at a drink after dinner and have a cigarette after dinner, in open areas… - look for something different!! Local people smoke all around but “ordinary” tourists sign a non smoking regulations papers and are expelled outside the vicinity of the area! In this hotel, you have no rights, you have obligations and restrictions only because you are nobody and we felt as intruders throughout the whole stay! -
