What a fantastic hotel!!! Right at the bank of a warm tropical river in Imbasai. Cross the river and there is a pristine beach and majestic Atlantic ocean. What a fantastic hotel!!! Right at the bank of a warm tropical river in Imbasai. Cross the river and there is a pristine beach and majestic Atlantic ocean. Great staff, 5 pools, amazing views and very reasonable price. Imbasai is my favorite spot in Bahia so far. Much better than overpriced and busy Praia da Forte. I would like to give a special thanks to Diego - entertainment and Jose Carlos - reception. This hotel is the best value for money in Imbassai.

“Good choice and vers close to the beach”

Costa Dos Coqueiros is a very good mid-budget resort. It needs some renovation but it is still ok. Costa Dos Coqueiros is a very good mid-budget resort. It needs some renovation but it is still ok. Spacious room, comfortable beds, bathroom was ok but not spectacular, and a hammock on the small balcony. Breakfast and dinner buffet was very good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel offers a number of games and has daily activities. Location, it could not be closer to the beach, just a few steps and you are at Praia do Forte. Watch out, the beach has its name, not for nothing. The ocean can be very rough and is not for nonswimmer and children. However, just two hundred meters to the left is a lagoon and a small river that runs into the ocean. Very calm water and excellent for kids. Right there at the lagoon are some beach restaurants. Imbassai, 15-minute walk, has some nice bars and boutiques.

“Very good!”

The hotel is well located, just in front of the beach and near the river (where you can find many bars/restaurants during the day). There are activities at the pool area, play center, area for playing cards, chess and others.

When I stayed there (Sep 2017) the hotel was going through renovations, definitely needed. The room my parents stayed was way nicer than mine, the bathroom was adequately ventilated, there was no smell, the furniture, painting and pavement were brand new. Couldn`t say the same about mine. When I stayed there (Sep 2017) the hotel was going through renovations, definitely needed. The room my parents stayed was way nicer than mine, the bathroom was adequately ventilated, there was no smell, the furniture, painting and pavement were brand new. Couldn`t say the same about mine. Pros: The location - Imbassai beach is a very peculiar place, there's a river which meets the ocean, and from the hotel you have easy access to both. Staff is pretty helpful and courteous Breakfast holds a nice variety of local foods There is one main large pool and 3 little ones (in case you want some personal space), as well as a beach volleyball court, a couple fuss-ball tables, table tennis, chess, etc They also rent bicycles and trikes(for two adults and a kid) Cons: As mentioned earlier, most of the rooms are old(as in Sep 2017), mine had an odd scent (mildly moldy). Rooms are also pretty small, it gets to cramped for 4 adult people, what they do is to put another bed in their "3 people"bedroom Since it's not an all inclusive resort, you pay for everything excluding breakfast and things are a bit expensive, when compared to the region. The beach is not so kid friendly, the tide is pretty strong there, there are many rocks, and from march to august you can get a lot of portuguese man'o war in the ocean, since they are carried by the wind.
