We had such an amazing time at ROBINSON Cabo Verde and would definitely come back! The food was absolutely delicious with so much variety every day, the whole resort is beautiful and very well maintained, and the staff were always incredibly friendly and welcoming. We felt comfortable and well looked after from the very beginning. We were there during Party Week, which made our stay even more special. There were lots of great activities and some amazing guest experts who really added something unique to the whole experience. A special shout-out has to go to Ferhat! His Aqua Fitness sessions were honestly so much fun – full of energy, great music, lots of laughs, and definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. We also really enjoyed the Beach Walks he organized and his Self-Defense class. He has such a positive and motivating energy and somehow manages to make every activity both fun and entertaining. He definitely made our holiday even more memorable! Sabrina’s sessions were another very special part of our stay, but in a completely different way. We joined her Breathwork sessions as well as her Yoga and Pilates classes, and they were such a unique experience – especially with the beautiful view towards the beach. There was something really special about taking that time for yourself in such an amazing setting. Her sessions encouraged us to connect with ourselves on a deeper level, try something new, and open ourselves up to new perspectives and experiences. It was such a beautiful contrast to the more energetic activities and something we will definitely take home with us. We also absolutely loved Lucy! Her classes were always fun and made you want to join in. But beyond the activities, we also really enjoyed simply talking to her. She is so open, friendly, and easy to talk to, and her warm personality made every interaction with her enjoyable. She really contributed to the positive atmosphere of our holiday. Overall, we had a wonderful stay filled with amazing food, great activities, lovely people, and so many memorable moments. A huge thank you to the entire ROBINSON Cabo Verde team and especially to Ferhat, Sabrina, and Lucy. You all made our holiday special in your own way and are a big part of why we will remember this trip so fondly. We would definitely love to come back!

This was our third visit to the hotel, and we were welcomed warmly and even given a room upgrade, which was a really nice touch to start the holiday. Staff friendliness was mixed this time. This was our third visit to the hotel, and we were welcomed warmly and even given a room upgrade, which was a really nice touch to start the holiday. Staff friendliness was mixed this time. Some team members were fantastic, while others could really work on their customer service – even a smile goes a long way. Worth noting the hotel is now under new management, and if we're honest, our experience of them wasn't a patch on Peggy, who was around last year. Interacting with guests and gathering feedback is so important, and we didn't see any evidence of that happening. A few special mentions: Tyce on the entertainment team was brilliant and always made a real effort. Dayana, a new intern, was an absolute delight and will clearly go far. The team in the tapas restaurant were superb – this was our first time eating there and it was excellent, the hotel really should promote it more. Also a big shout out to the lady on the dessert section – her carrot cake and puddings were amazing. Food overall is very good, though some "auditing" of crockery and glasses wouldn't go amiss (a few chipped items around). The birds can be a bit of a pest, but the hotel generally try their best – it would just help if more of the food were covered over. The pool areas were generally well kept, although the sun loungers are due an upgrade, and we didn't see the pool cleaned once during our stay. The hotel is German-run, and we did sense a bit of animosity towards English guests at times this year (the football probably didn't help). It would be good to see more effort made for the English-speaking community – a lot of the information on the app, for example, was only in German. Finally, we used the gym often and the air conditioning really needs sorting – it's never worked properly on any of our visits.
