Excellent place to stay! You want to be there in Medellin at Dann Carlton Medellin. Beautiful hotel with a grand entrance. Personnel inside are great individuals that take heart to their work. Rooms are very clean and accomodating. An awesome experience inside the hotel, you almost don't want to leave! Price is very exceptional to other brands for what you get,because they give awesome experience for better prices in the area. It is in the heart of the financial and tourism district sections of the city! It's like being inside a city or another world until you exit! It is home luxury away from home. The experience is like being in New York City's Ritz Carlton but with a local heart flair. If you go to Medellin for Business, great area to have your encounters and meetings. The area by the restaurant is a great area for networking and sit downs with clients or family in the area. Food is exceptional and the restaurant is beutifully assisted with awesome personnel like the Director of the morning restaurant personnel, Juan Diego, exceptionally great smile and extremely friendly with guests, in service provided with two older gentlemen and Natalia who attend you with such great care in the morning buffet breakfast. Your going to Love Medellin, Colombia, home of the beatiful people Paisas! You got to stay At Dan Medellin Carlton, my name to this awesome beautiful hotel for the experiences and amability of the people there!! I have been there for more than 5 times, and it gets better every time that you hate love them!! Thank Santiago, Giovanny, Freddi, oh Felipe awesome employee also. Liliana, Natalia, and the (2) older gentlemen in the restaurant, Lina to make sure your room is clean personally. They don't forget you!! Even met The General Manager, Manuel Murillo, who was a very friendly and inviting individual in his Hotel, who was such a gentleman to introduce himself. Runs a very tight ship of individuals that love their job to make you want to comeback and stay many times!!!

I have written one review that I loved it. The second review I was frustrated because they chased this girl down I was with like she robbed the bank or something.. just to let you know she's like 25 years old but You made me feel like a criminal I'm sure she felt weird too. She had the id... no big deal. I went back on November and there's no other place that I want to go. This place is just beautiful. Believe it or not a lot of the people who work there were like hey Alan how are you? Kind of felt like that woman on Titanic who eventually dies and goes into the superfluent dinner area on the Titanic and everybody applies for her she walks in, I booked a beautiful penthouse like a apartment for $140 a night and that was nice but It ain't no restaurant, no breakfast buffet, no pool no jacuzzi no workout... So the last two nights I booked a room at Dan Carlton and It was just great. I don't think I'm staying anywhere else ever again. And I guess everybody requires an iD if you have a girl with you. And if whoever you're with doesn't want to give her ID, you have a problem, get rid of them. I talked to one guy whose girl stole some stuff and they could track her down because of the ID policy. I just love it there, right in the middle of Medellin, everything is good. Even the cab drivers are great I'm from Boston and you will never find anything even close to this, to even use a bathroom hotel for this type of money.. Iit's a 9-hour flight and this hotel makes that long flight worth it.

“Room with magnificent views of the city”

Very elaborate with details to make your stay comfortable, including English speaking staff. Very safe neighborhood and near a large shopping mall. I highly recommend

Location is good, a few blocks off the main tourist area. Safe to walk to/from, down a busy street. Room is worn, no black out curtains, construction noise nearby, no kleenex in room, a water bottle in room would be nice. Their towels were rough. Location is good, a few blocks off the main tourist area. Safe to walk to/from, down a busy street. Room is worn, no black out curtains, construction noise nearby, no kleenex in room, a water bottle in room would be nice. Their towels were rough. Hot water was unstable - it would fluctuate between very hot to cold. Suite room was spacious and 2 bathrooms were nice. Breakfast, they would run out of several food items and not replenish it even though still plenty of time left for breakfast. Lobby had no currency exchange to small bills. Think this hotel is past its prime and would look to stay elsewhere. Not terrible but needs some improvement and better management. Room was clean. Will help with airport shuttle.
