Pros: Great location very near to downtown Clean rooms for this price class Cons: Super hard pillows. Seriously I have never seen pillows this hard. Really tiny rooms and restrooms. It wasn’t a big issue for me but be aware of it. Breakfast was included in my stay. Breakfast is simple but decent. You have 4 breakfast options to choose from. Depending on who works at the front desk they might have difficulty speaking English which is common in Bogota. Friendly staff. There is a “mini gym”, it’s more like 4 pieces of gym equipment next to where the breakfast area is. Overall a great price for this good location.

This hotel is located right in the center of Bogota Downtown - La Candelaria area. It's only a hop, skip and a jump away from most attractions in Bogota. The hotel staff is extremely nice and polite they would definitely accommodate and cater to your needs. For instance, my flight landed early in the morning and checking was not till later once I got there and asked them if I could do an early checking they asked me to come back in an hour and had my room ready. However, the only problem I encountered was the staff at the hotel doesn't really speak English quite well, therefore, knowing a little Spanish can really help you. As for the room since it's a Boutique Hotel it's rather little small compared to a normal hotel. But as a solo traveler, I thought the room met my basic needs since I spent most of my time outside. They also provide you with complimentary breakfast and coffee. I would recommend this place anyone who's a solo traveler on a budget.

Hotel Casa Quinta has a great location – just within walking distance from main attractions of old Bogota (including Museo del Oro). Rooms are fairly good maintained, but not very clean. Despite the fact that the temperature in February in Bogota is about 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, the hotel does not provide the hot water in the bathroom. Good breakfast allows you great start of the day. Having stayed there twice during my recent trip to Colombia, I experienced that unfortunately the front desk staff is not really aware of prices and possible discounts and does not speak good English. Therefore, as I was eligible to 10% discount (genius status at booking.com) each time completing check-in formalities took approximately 20 minutes, that ruined my overall opinion about the hotel.

Quinta is a very small hotel in the center of bogota. It's very clean and the staff friendly and they try to help you even though they don't speak any English. Rooms are quite small and the bathroom very very small. Impossible to turn around and almost impossible to close the door. Most of the room don't have any windows out, just in to the corridors and lobby. It was very quiet but there were only 4 guest at the hotel. During our visit there was no hot water. That's bad in Bogota. Breakfast was ok. Location is quite good if you want to visit the museums, university, the city center and stroll in the old quarter. Quinta feels safe but the neighborhood feels slightly dodgy. I wouldn't like to walk around there in the night. On the other hand you can't walk around in central Bogota in the night. There are plenty of small local bars near by. We could stay there again even though it wasn't anything special if they fix the hot water.

Note that we stayed in a room on the middle of the second floor, which may not be representative of all the rooms here. Pros: Dark room, especially if the bright hallway light is turned off. Great shower, although very small bathroom. Dry sauna worked well, although the light inside doesn't work. Wet sauna didn't seem to be working. Jacuzzi took 20 minutes to fill 1/3 of the way, then the hot water ran out. So plan the Jacuzzi in advance or plan on only using the dry sauna (cold shower adjacent). Great bed, sheets, and pillows. Good bright lights, but almost no natural light in the room, since ours had no exterior windows and only a tiny window that opened to the hallway. There's also little airflow because of this, and the room might even be too warm for some. Decent breakfast - good scrambled eggs with some drinks and bread if you want it. Staff friendly and helpful when needed. Cons: Our room was pretty noisy whenever there was any noise from the lobby or hallway. No street nose though. At night this wasn't a problem, although at 2am one night we had to ask the receptionist to turn down the TV (which he promptly did!). Finally, the TOILET PAPER REPORT: Decent quality, thick but not too rough, and well-perforated. 7/10 for t.p.
