This is a very nice clean and comfortable hotel located on a street off the main avenue where all the action takes place. The main door is secure at all times and you ring a bell to get the staff to let you in or out. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good, consisting of fruit, coffee, juice and a choice of pancakes or eggs. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we received a full and comprehensive briefing on check-in from Erica and she also pre-arranged transportation to the airport on our departure. The area immediately outside the hotel is a little depressed however its not as bad as some other reviewers would have you believe. For the price and location (walking distance to most attractions) it's perfect. I would stay there without hesitation anytime.

Very nice hotel inside and in a good location. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Can be noisy as you can hear everything that's going on outside your room. The security is good as you have to get buzzed in to enter the hotel. On Sunday"s there is a street market outside all along the street. Brush up on your Spanish as the staff do not speak English.

Very clean and pretty inside with lots of plants. Close to the beautiful colourful streets of La Candelaria and 5 mins from Museo de Oro. Very clean and pretty inside with lots of plants. Close to the beautiful colourful streets of La Candelaria and 5 mins from Museo de Oro. On Sundays the street markets are outside the hotel and across the street in the parking lot. The streets are very hilly and the altitude is quite high so may find it a little harder to breathe if you are not used to that. Inside the hotel you can hear everything outside your room and sometimes the staff are quite loud regardless of the time. I also did not find them very helpful, speaking Spanish may have helped as none of the staff spoke English.

“Not the nicest of streets and the building has seen better days. ”

My taxi driver was reluctant to drop me at this hotel, asked if I was sure! The door was locked and she waited until I was let in. Not in a nice area for a lone traveller to be walking around. Very lovely building but it’s seen better days. Cheap and cheerful. My bedroom smelt damp and looked o… more

My taxi driver was reluctant to drop me at this hotel, asked if I was sure! The door was locked and she waited until I was let in. Not in a nice area for a lone traveller to be walking around. Very lovely building but it’s seen better days. Cheap and cheerful. My bedroom smelt damp and looked out into a lobby where the cleaners kept their stuff. Thankfully only there one night. Seemed to be fairly empty of guests, only one other lone traveller at breakfast. Reception spoke no English. Wouldn’t recommend.
