“Fantastic little boutique hotel ”

We spent five nights at La Ramona and we absolutely loved it. The rooms are huge, very clean and stylish, with lots of natural light. Our room had a private outdoor shower which was pretty spectacular. The staff are lovely. Breakfast was delicious and the portions were very generous. And the location was perfect - a short 5 minute walk away from the centre of Tamarindo but in a very quiet neighbourhood. If we're ever back in Tamarindo we'll stay here again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful hotel located just outside the main area of Tamarindo. Its location was a lovely balance, close enough to walk into town while offering a quieter environment, which we really appreciated. The room itself was beautifully designed with an aesthetic that was very pleasing. That said, there are a few areas where we feel improvements could be made. There is currently construction taking place, which didn’t bother us too much but might be disruptive for other guests, especially as it started at 7am one morning. This created an awkward gap between the noise and the start of breakfast service at 8am. Speaking of breakfast, it was a bit of a shame that we couldn’t enjoy it due to many Tamarindo activities beginning early in the morning. Additionally, we noticed a small amount of black mould in the room, which may require attention. The staff were pleasant, though the overall atmosphere of the hotel didn’t feel particularly welcoming at times. For instance, when we arrived an hour early due to a shuttle, there were no shared facilities available for changing so I was unable to change into bathers for the beach. We also found it a little concerning that there’s a charge if you accidentally get coffee on the walls, given the white-painted rooms. These details made us feel slightly hesitant during our stay. Despite these minor issues, we found the hotel to be a peaceful retreat and very aesthetically pleasing. While we only stayed for two nights and didn’t feel the need to raise these concerns at the time, addressing them could make the experience even better for future guests. Thank you for hosting us—we look forward to seeing how this lovely hotel continues to improve!

“Vin diesel was there ”

Very nice and quiet hotel,good breakfast in the morning and close walk to the beach and main restaurants.pool area was great.met some nice people from everywhere.the side roads are not the greatest i fell on the rocks and so did my gf scraped up knees. Very good restaurants in the area a lot to ch… more

“Nice place”

Nice location, quiet but still only 10 minutes walk to the main hub of things. Host was really engaging and wanted us to have a great stay. Breakfast really good. Nice big room, good air con which was needed. I just think it needs a bit of TLC to get it up to scratch.
