“Great value for money”
Great value for money in this small, off-the-beaten track boutique hotel in San Jose's hip Barrio Escalante. Literally TONS of cafes, bars, restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance, in a safe neighborhood. Rooms are small and basic but clean, Wifi and TV work great.

Hotel 1492 was in a convenient location with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly.
