“Unique and wonderful”
We visited this cloud forest hotel for one night only (sadly) in February as part of a round Costa Trip road trip. The first thing we noticed was the altitude - it can make you quite breathless. “Beautiful location.”
Phenomenal. We were lucky to stay here. Our purpose was to go birdwatching and Dantica was the best home-base. Carlos provided excellent bird-watching tours in the Savegre rainforest. The view from the rooms is spectacular. The birdlife on the property is a lot of fun. Food was excellent - so… more

“Highly highly recommend this Lodge!”
Our stay in Room 3 was excellent. Comfortable bed, very good pillows and linens, stylish and convenient furnishings, and many seating areas (indoors and out) to admire the stupendous views and the plethora of birds and other wildlife. The restaurant is fabulous! And the quetzal tour is amazing.

“One of the most special places we have ever stayed.”
I went in 2022 and came back again. This a place is truly special and beautiful. The food is just okay but the hotel makes up for it! Stay here you will be happy!

“Great night's stay in the mountains - unique accommodation”
