“Home away from home”
The people at the front desk were incredibly helpful and nice. The manager is always cheerful and anticipates your needs. The room are large. The beds are so comfortable that I fall asleep quickly and wake up refreshed. It is in easy walking distance to excellent restaurants and a three-story mall.

“Friendly and helpful!”
Every member of staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Recommended - they also arranged a tour and a taxi. Close enough to walk into San Jose centre in about 30 mins and many interesting and varied local restaurants.

“Good but no a/c and near train station”
On the one hand, its budget friendly, has friendly staff and is clean. On the other hand, there is no air conditioning, a train passes right outside and the immediate neighborhood isn't great. “Great service but train station nearby”
I spent two weeks at the hotel tairona and I very much enjoyed it. The staff were always helpful and courteous which I believe is common amongst Costa Rican people. “Convenient”
This hotel is pretty convenient. The staff is friendly and the relation price-service-room is good. Don't expect a swimming pool or a gym but it is close to a supermarket and good restaurants. Also, it has a private parking area within the location.
