BLUESUN HOTEL BERULIA – a very pleasant stay with genuinely good service From the very beginning, it was clear that the hotel places a strong emphasis on guest comfort. Throughout our stay, the staff were helpful, attentive, and friendly, while never being intrusive. Everything worked smoothly and naturally, without unnecessary stress. During our first stay here, the reception team went above expectations and showed great sensitivity in accommodating a guest with limited mobility. The accommodation was adjusted so that moving around the hotel required as little physical effort as possible. We perceived the room upgrade as a thoughtful and appropriate solution tailored to the specific situation, significantly contributing to the overall comfort of our stay. BLUESUN HOTEL BERULIA – Room comfort as part of the overall experience The room was equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, which were replenished daily, and a complimentary bottle of mineral water was provided on arrival. The room met the hotel’s standard and offered a high level of comfort throughout the stay. • Comfort & essentials: a high-quality bed with a premium mattress, a choice of pillows, high-quality bed linen, individually adjustable air conditioning, blackout curtains, and a quiet environment thanks to good sound insulation. • Bathroom: high-quality towels and bathrobes, premium hotel toiletries, a hairdryer, and ample storage space. • Technology: TV with international channels, telephone, fast free Wi‑Fi, and plenty of power outlets. Overall comfort was further supported by regular room cleaning, which was consistently reliable throughout the stay. BLUESUN HOTEL BERULIA – Gastronomy: not just about food, but the overall experience A major highlight was the wide breakfast time window, allowing guests to start the day at their own pace without rushing. The food selection was rich and varied, continuously replenished throughout service. Both breakfast and dinner included freshly prepared dishes made on site, which added a pleasant and lively dimension to the dining experience. Dinners were well organised, with professional service and a calm, orderly atmosphere. The option to choose beverages individually, with drinks charged separately, fully corresponds to the standard practice of hotels in this category. BLUESUN HOTEL BERULIA – Overall impression What the hotel presents on its website corresponds to reality. This review is based on our individual experience, during which we consistently perceived a professional and genuinely human approach from the staff. Our stay at BLUESUN HOTEL BERULIA was very pleasant. The hotel offers a high level of comfort, quality services, and a team that truly cares about guests feeling well looked after. A great added value is the diverse surrounding landscape, where the sea naturally meets the mountainous terrain, offering beautiful views as well as pleasant coastal walks, complemented by plenty of benches for rest and relaxation. We would be happy to return. BLUESUN HOTEL BERULIA is one of those hotels we can confidently recommend to others.

“Nice five night stay”

Nice hotel & very clean.There is a lot of steps around the hotel so beware if you have difficultys. Staff are very pleasant & go beyond to make your stay pleasant. Nice hotel & very clean.There is a lot of steps around the hotel so beware if you have difficultys. Staff are very pleasant & go beyond to make your stay pleasant. Evening dinner could be longer, 7 till 9 seemed a bit rushed but we soon adapted.Downside was price of drinks, apple juice was 5 euro & a small beer was 5 euro. But overall a great location with stunning views. The coastline is amazing & a stroll into either town was nice. Would visit again.

Had a lovely week bed and breakfast at this hotel. We were in the 4 star accommodation but had use of the 5 star pools and facilities. The room was small - but a very comfortable bed and was cleaned daily and clean towels provided. We a little balcony with the most amazing views over the sea. There are many stairs at the hotel, this was not an issue for us but something to be aware of if you had mobility difficulties. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast- it was amazing! There was everything that you could want and we enjoyed this every morning. In fact we were so full we skipped lunch and didn’t eat again until dinner time. There are two beautiful pools and plenty of sunbeds. There are two little towns either direction when you leave the hotel via the beach side. We went for dinner at local restaurants each night and always found somewhere good to eat. All in all we had a great holiday. The only downside would be that the area is quiet and public transport was not easy to find if you wanted to go further afield. We did ask at the reception about where we could catch a bus but were told to go on a web site which to be honest didn’t really help. Might have been useful if the hotel had maps of where to catch a bus and a timetable.

Three years ago we visited Bluesun Berulia in June. The hotel was well placed between Brela and Baska Voda, with great amenities and helpful professional staff. Staying B&B we occasionally took advantage of the on-site restaurant which was proper à la carte right on the beachfront amid the pine trees. On the strength of the hotel and the resort we booked again through TUI. The first and only time we had any contact with them during the holiday was to tell us they had changed our transfer prior to arrival. No rep visit, advice or trips. Just download the app to contact them which didn’t work. Anyway, back to Bluesun Berulia. On arrival the hotel presented exactly as it did three years ago. However, the restaurant was closed (too early in the season?), the Terrace Bar was also closed for half the stay so only the pool bar was available. That bar has entertainment six nights a week so a quiet drink watching the sunset was never going to happen. The quality of the entertainment was a bit mixed too but it’s not easy to appeal to a wide age range from all parts of the world. In the end we went out every night into Brela or Baska Voda. Both are well blessed with great restaurants and bars. The other thing we noticed is that hotel prices for food and drinks especially have risen considerably. You are unlikely to get much change from €50 for lunch and a couple of drinks. On a positive note the staff are amazing. From the spa (well worth a visit or two) to the Terrace Bar (once it was open), the breakfast team and the cleaning staff, all are pleasant and professional. It’s a shame then that upon checking out and parting with several hundred Euros in extras, we had such a poor experience getting access to a room to clean up before a late flight. We were told we had fifteen minutes per person to shower and change . The room was basically a store room with a shower. No chairs, table to put cases on, no hair dryer, no towels and as hot as hades. The pictures tell their own story but upon asking at reception about the state of the room, nobody had visited it. So to conclude, this is a good hotel with by and large great staff. It’s in a fantastic location and the food and drinks are excellent if pricy. We probably won’t let the early season issues and service hiccups stop us visiting again but I would urge the management to provide guests with an appropriate room to shower in for those departing late.
