“Perfect for a visit to Split”

Really nice apartment - only a 10 minute walk of the old town and of the sea! Loads of shops, bars, bakeries & ATMs within minutes as well. It's perfect! The host was there to meet us and also arranged our airport transfers so everything was covered from the airport and the return.

We stayed in room 103 (two twins pushed together) for just one night. The room itself is very nicely decorated and furnished. The rooms are located inside a suite in an apartment building in an urban neighborhood about ten minutes' walk from the old town. They have key card access, a mini fridge, in-room safe, etc. Dino was a great host, accommodating my request for extra pillows and waiting for us in front of the property when we arrived. He provided a recommendation for lunch - Ciba, the place directly across the street, had fantastic local food and excellent service. Try the daily specials! Dino was also easy to get in touch with later in the evening when we decided we wanted to arrange an airport transfer through him instead of taking an Uber (we figured it would be more reliable) and our taxi was waiting outside early in the morning ahead of the scheduled time. The only downsides of this accommodation are that the neighborhood didn’t feel super safe/nice at night for walking around alone, and the water pressure in the shower was a little low.

Wow what a property. Our flight was delayed but the owner Dino was really easy to contact via email and he was there to greet us at the door. Dino was very pleasant and helpful. Gave us lots of tips of good local places to eat and recommended things to do in the area. There are plenty of leaflets in the communal hallway with ideas for your stay. These rooms are based in a quiet apartment block which doesn't look the most inviting on first glance but don't be put off. The entrance being on the entrance floor as you go into the building. There is key card entry into a hallway with 4 apartments. The apartments are beautifully decorated and extremely spacious. Huge kingsize bed and tea/coffee making facilities. They are equipped with all the essentials e.g. towels/toiletries. We were told if there was anything we needed during our stay to just contact the owner. There is a small mini bar which we were able to use to store some cold drinks/snacks that we had bought ourselves. Air-conditioning system was really efficient. Apartment is located about a 15 minute walk away from the centre of Split and the port. It is a slight incline all the way down so some might find the walk back up more difficult. A great base slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. The only downside is that the apartments have to be paid for in cash on arrival. So if this isn't your first destination or you are staying for an extended period you will have to carry a large amount of cash.
