“Very Happy with our service here !”
This hotel was comfortable and the service was excellent. Hotel Manager Evan was very helpful and provided great service. The hotel is located centrally and near all the action. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Baracoa. Mike Theiss

“Excellent price quality hotel”
Very friendly and helpfull staff, comfortable beds in a mid size room with a clean bathroom. Breakfast is good and included in the roomprice of 44 C. Spaceous lobby, very professional in-house travel agency (ecotur) and on 40 meters from the central square, Parque Independencia.

“Severely underrated”
This is a 2 star hotel. As with some other places where we stayed I surmise that it is the lack of a lift which precipitates such a low rating. “Relaxed friendly, professional service”
We stayed for five nights and were very impressed. The staff paid attention to detail, were always available and very friendly. Hostal 1511 not too bad probably slightly better than Hotel Castillo? Which looked as tired, pool there dirty. Hostal a bit tired, room reasonable size, in the middle of the town near restaurants and some food/water shops if required. Bathroom loo seat poor fitting, water seems to be cold again Bar… more
