“Best bargain in Santiago”
At $40 a night this classy hotel is a bargain. Situated on Plaza Marti is is easy to go almost anywhere. On weekends the streets are blocked for a good fair. “Enjoy the Lobby and architecture”
We arrived unannounced and found a cramped dark little room: clean, good AC and a working safe. The Lobby is a trip back and time and architecture. Comfortable to sit and enjoy the open window, have a drink, relax and plan the next outing. The restaurant was great value.

“Historic gem in old Santiago”
We stayed at Libertad for 2 nights in November, 2017. It is a stylish old hotel with beautiful colonial design. It is very clean, has good air conditioning and the staff are wonderful. The restaurant was equally impressive. If we're ever in Santiago again we would love to stay there again.

“nice hotel”
very ggod location, especialy friendly staff, nice touriostic hotel middle level for a good price, Santiago de Cuba is very nice city much bettter than Havana :) good breakfast for this price, they even can offer a lunch packet to take away for some additional fee
