This was our third stay at this hotel, and once again, it was absolutely faultless. We had originally booked another hotel in the area this time round for our wedding trip, but sadly, it turned out to be terrible — especially disappointing given how special the occasion was. It caused far more stress than we needed at such an important time, so we decided on a whim to come back here to see if there was any chance of getting a room. Thankfully, there was one left! The staff couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating. They went out of their way to help us get settled quickly, and within an hour we had checked out of the other hotel, moved here, and finally started to relax. Their professionalism and genuine care really saved our wedding week! The hotel itself is spotless, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The pool area is lovely — always clean, with plenty of space. The location is perfect too: just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach and only a short stroll to the main strip with all the shops, bars, and restaurants, yet still quiet enough to relax in peace. Having stayed here two times before over the past couple of years, it’s brilliant to see that the high standards have not only been maintained but seem to get even better each time. The staff are consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making every guest feel welcome. We honestly can’t thank the team enough for turning what began as a stressful situation into a wonderful and memorable stay. This hotel has truly become our go-to choice whenever we visit the area — and after this experience, we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. Highly recommended!

“Self catering”

Very spacious, hotel right on the beach front so easy to get to either promenade and walking to pubs and restraunts. Kitchen is good has microwave hob and fridge/freezer. Would of been better with oven of some sort. Has hair dryer big mirror for getting ready. Choice of 2 pools and kids pool. Near … more

Very spacious, hotel right on the beach front so easy to get to either promenade and walking to pubs and restraunts. Kitchen is good has microwave hob and fridge/freezer. Would of been better with oven of some sort. Has hair dryer big mirror for getting ready. Choice of 2 pools and kids pool. Near to a shop at the front of the hotel as a separate building. We've come 3 times now never had a bad experience.

“Comfortable stay at Golden Star.”

We enjoyed our stay at the Golden star, family of 2 adults, two teenagers . Reception staff were friendly and also the bar staff location is great very near the beach and some nice beach bars. We enjoyed our stay at the Golden star, family of 2 adults, two teenagers . Reception staff were friendly and also the bar staff location is great very near the beach and some nice beach bars. Beach was very rocky to enter the sea. The family room we had was a good size teenagers had their own beds in the lounge area. Kitchen was useful and had everything we needed. The only downside was the temperature of the swimming pools. They were absolutely freezing so we didn’t use them more than once. I understand a cold pool when you visit in October but it’s a shame they can’t heat a little just to take the edge off. The small football area was very useful for the children although the metal fencing around it would puncture our footballs on many occasions. I’m sure the local shops kept well stocked on footballs for this reason.😁 we stayed for nine nights and I think there was only two days when there was no cleaning service. On the days our room was cleaned she did a great job thank you. Lots of bars, restaurants and tribute acts a few minutes walk away we made use of these every evening. Hotel shop was reasonable and well stocked. Visited Protaras to take it off the list of places in Cyprus but you can’t beat Nissi Beach. 🏝️

Average apartments we had a room facing the back entrance where bin men and laundry was delivered (cut out of photos) so alittle noisy early morning. Good air con in room. Pool very tiny and busy so we used the big hotel pool next door for 2 weeks as there was some little steps leading up there nobody said anything! Breakfast was included but awful buffet style so only went twice. Very close to the main strip which I really loved especially Ghetto bar. Beautiful beach on door step. A jeep safari day out was great too
