Pro’s: * Clean room, cleaners work hard * Modern room and bathroom room: C25 * Free safe * Use of 4x restaurants in other hotels in protaras * Pool warm * Plenty of sunbeds * Shower pressure was good and hot! * beach front hotel, it is a pebble beach take crocs or sea shoes as they cut into your feet *Snack bar is good served from 10-5 has burgers, nuggets, chips, and toasties Cons: * Pool music was WEIRD sometimes abit inappropriate lots of swearing and sexual innuendos rap/trap/grime music all streamed from YouTube so there was ad’s too * Some sun-beds with cushions others without. SO many of the sunbeds are broken. This was the main bug bare of the whole stay. No matter whether you stack them or try put them away the next day they’re out again for you to fall through it’s dangerous. * No draws in room to store clothes but massive wardrobes but only 5 hangers * No do not disturb signs for the rooms, so cleaners can just stroll in whenever * Have to wait to be served drinks at meal times and sometimes you finish your meal before they take your drinks order * Next door to an open air night club so Friday, Saturday Sunday music plays SO loud until around 230am *Pool toilet under restaurant, it smells and doesn’t always have toilet roll or hand soap Notes- not necessarily good or bad: * Staff smoking and drinking behind the bars but they do serve you quickly * Lots of construction didn’t affect it but be aware maybe certain rooms will be louder than others * Dining area is TINY but food was okay not great but always chips and nuggets as an option * The other restaurants you can book are around 30mins walk from marlita hotel. The Italian is rated 1* so we didn’t go, we went to the a-la-carte and left during the mains it was vile * Hotel transfer is around 55 minutes * Arrived at 1am from the transfer given a sandwich and fruit- we didn’t eat this but was nice sentiment * No map of hotel so we didn’t know where entertainment was- hidden round the back of C block however we only ever saw kids club which started at 2030…we waited until 10pm and nothing ever happened so we went to bed * Large apartments kitchen area is old fashioned but room and bathroom were modern. * C block was abit scruffy outside the room and the lift seemed dangerous (although did work so that’s a win) but again it didn’t affect your stay! * No ice cream as dessert. Snack bar has Small ice creams provided from bar vanilla/banana/chocolate you get what you’re given

Positive - Beautiful Location, Friendly Staff, Beach is amazing & good for snorkeling, Food good, good variety of all inclusive drinks. Beach Towels for 10 euro deposit & fully refunded on return. Rooms Clean, lovely Air Con in rooms, local shops, beautiful restaurants near by, FREE eating in near by restaurants which was a lovely surprise, Chinese, greek & Italian, you need to book these at reception, was very nice. Negative 😔 Don't expect any sleep Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights as right next to open air nightclub, even beds vibrate with the noise til 2am. Showers in room could be updated. Evening Entertainment basically very poor, most nights music just playing and kids running over the stage.

We arrived very late and was escorted to the room by one of the staff who left us standing by the lift to 4th floor. The lift was not coming down to ground floor, so we had to go to 1st floor to access the lift. The room was shocking, the bath tub had rust, towels were discoloured, the fridge was leaking, no extractor fan in the bathroom, it steamed up when having a shower. Part of the roof in the bathroom was falling apart, beds were very uncomfortable with only 1 pillow person. Had to request for the bedding to be changed, which was done on the 4th day. However, staff were very lovely. Food was ok, could be better, same breakfast choice everyday. Some of the sun beds were broken.
