We have been staying at Nausicaa for the last 3 years. My two boys aged 3 and 4 have so much to do and the hotel really caters for kids. From the evening entertainment to the daily pool activities there is never a dull moment. The food is outstanding with plenty of variety and great quality ingredients. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. Stathis and his team go above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Their generosity and unparalleled hospitality goes beyond what is expected and we are so grateful for having found such a wonderful hotel for us all to enjoy. We are so looking forward to returning in May.

Hello again Stathis This is Lillian and Terje from Kristiansand in Norway. We are so lucky having visited you at Nausicaa Beach 15 times. During all these years we have also considered other places to spend our summer vacations, but we are always ending ut with you at Nausicaa. And that is because you really are the best. The total experiene at Nausicaa is at the very highest level. The sea, the food, the weather, the service and not to forget the staff working here is really high class. Throgh all these years we have also got to know Daniella, Kathleen, Elias, Petya and Nikos very well, and they have become our very good friends. Their kindness and service have led us to the feeling of Nausicaa as our second home. We are of course looking forward to seeing you in 2026, also with a bigger part of our family. We also of course have our fingers crossed for West Ham United. So far not so good, but still a lot of matches left. All the best, and give our very best regards to the rest of the staff. “Two wonderful weeks at the Tamala TUI BLUE Hotel Gambia.”

Having been to The Gambia before, we knew what to expect but were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful Tamala Beach Hotel. We had pre-booked an accessible room for my wife, confirmed by TUI, but were given one up stairs which was totally unsuitable. however, after discussion and a welcome late meal, we got a room that suited our needs on the ground floor. Overall we loved the holiday which was made special by some of the amazing staff. In the restaurant, run very competently by Suleyman, who never seemed to go home and made sure we had everything we needed, we were looked after by the lovely Isla aka shaky shaky, Sheriff, Adama and last but not least Fatima. At the beach we were looked after most royally by Lamin and Kuliula, the Life Guards. I have to say we have never met more attentive beach staff and Lamin especially looked after my wife Andrea, while i went on bird watching trips. During the day the entertainments team led by The Big Man, Ambrose, supported by Magai, aka The King, Alhassan, aka Michael Jackson, Mahamood aka Spider man, Mikey and the lovely Ida kept us busy and entertained with sports games and good fun. Drinks were serve at the pool by Kaddy, the best Barmaid in the Gambia. Kaddy and the other barmen had to work in the full sun all day so please management Get the Roof completed over the bar. The rooms were a good size and cleaned every day and fresh water left for us by Musa. Some cosmetic work would improve the visual of the room but the power failures we know from previous visits to Gambia. Marianna the housekeeper who seemed to work everywhere was so pleasant and helpful and the gardeners were so good and discussed their jobs with me every day. They asked me for advice when they discovered i had worked in the Botanical Gardens in Belfast, N. Ireland. We quickly realized on arrival that something was going on in the hotel as a lot of work was being carried out It turned out that the hotel was to become a Tui Blue Hotel on our fourth day there, with a big party for dignitaries and special guests. Unfortunately there was very little information to inform the visitors there what was going on. I think the management need to rethink their methods of information for guests as people my age don't use apps ie Tui Blue, the way younger people do. The food improved as the holiday went on and although some folk had issues the food we thought it was very good by Gambian standards. Evening entertainment was great, drinks were good and shows enjoyable and of course when the entertainment team was about the craic was mighty (as we say in N. Ireland) We hope to return next year and know that things will be even better. To the General Manager, Zahrane, be very proud of your staff, they are brilliant and your hotel is beautiful.

“Beautiful island of Cyprus, with beautiful people”

Nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were amazing and an absolute credit to the hotel. The rooms were lovely and spacious. The food was fab and there was always something nice to eat. Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely return.
