My wife and I got married here in May, booked through a third-party wedding company. We've been to Cyprus numerous times and stayed at a number of different hotels, but Nissi Beach Resort was just something else. Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh lemonade and our luggage taken to our room for us. We stayed in one of the bungalows with amazing views of the beach and sea a few meters away from our door. The room was clean and spacious with two TVs, one for us and one for the kids. Within minutes of settling in we had a knock at the door and we were greeted with a bottle of champagne on ice. Very nice. The views outside the room were amazing, in fact they were that good that throughout the week we witnessed atleast 50 people walk past and do Instagram videos of the room and surrounding gardens, then walk off back to another hotel 😂 (shows how real peoples Instagram lives are). We had a few meetings with the hotel Wedding Coordinators Mario and Sabrina. But the main bulk of our time was with Sabrina, and we can't thank her enough. She made our wedding day absolutely perfect and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to get married in Cyprus. On the wedding day sabrina was on the ball making sure everything went to plan and on schedule. We had family members who have severe but allergys and sabrina sorted it so they had alternative food to us at the wedding. The morning after the wedding we were treated to breakfast in bed and another bottle of champagne on ice. And in the evening we had candle lit dinner sat by the edge of the restaurant looking out to the sea. We were escorted to our table dressed with flowers and a candle with another bottle of champagne on the side. People may say "well you've paid for it" which is true, but for a family that's used to all inclusive, three star, brit filled hotels this really felt special to us. The hotel was exceptional throughout the food was amazing, the hotel staff are amazing, the gardens are beautiful and well looked after and I'm so happy I got to marry the love of my life at this perfect hotel. Special shout out to Sabrina! And also Marios (the photographer) hilarious guy and great at taking pictures. Overall, if your reading this thinking about getting married here, my answer to you is do it. We were treated like royalty.

Perfect hotel and the best Beach bar with very friendly staff and best barmans. We used to spend our time close to swimming pool because of children and the good was the best and drinks were even better and all staff were very friendly and respectful to our children playing in that area.

Food During our stay we were bed and breakfast. The breakfast area is lovely to sit with a stunning sea view. The breakfast contained a large range of food including scrambled, boiled and fried eggs, bacon, beans, tomato, hash browns, sausages. White and Brown toast, bread rolls. Pancakes, waffles and syrups. A range of teas, lattes, coffees, apple juice, orange juice, pineapple and grapefruit juice. A wide range of cakes, croissants and pastries. A large fresh fruit and yogurt and cheeses section. Condiments include marmalade, jam, honey and butter. Breakfast had a good range but at times the food could be a bit warmer. Staff The staff were very friendly and welcoming at reception during check in and check out. We were greeted at check in with drinks and someone took our luggage to our rooms which was really nice. It would have been good if we were given more information around facilities and what was around the area. They had a TUI and Jet 2 area but there wasn't massive amounts of information on the area so we had to research a lot for ourselves. Rooms We had a double room with an inland view which slept 3 adults. The room was tidy and clean. The bathroom was a good size but could have done with a bath mat as the shower was very slippery. The wardrobe was a good size to hang clothes and came with draws. We had tea and coffee facilities in the room and a small fridge. The room was very tight for 3 adults as the balcony was quite small. The air condition didn't get very cold so it was quite warm in the room. Location The hotel was very easy to get around and had good access for wheelchairs. The beach was right on the hotel front, nice and close. The best way to get around was to use the local bus service 20 Euro for a weekly pass. The bus went all the way up and down the coast using the 101 and 102 bus. You can visit the sea caves, harbour, landa beach, konas bay, ayia napa town center and they are regular every 15-20 minutes. The buses can get very crowded at times. Entertainment The hotel entertainment was quite poor, there were a few singers and music playing but not much going on in the evenings. Facilities In the hotel they have an indoor pool and spar. The indoor pool has some nice big bean bags that are comfy but the pool was freezing cold which made it unusable and disappointing considering its a nice space. The hotel has a PC that you can use to research the local area. They have a beach towel exchange so you can change your pool towels regularly. Beach The Nissi beach has lovely beautiful crystal clear waters and there are plenty of little bars on the beach to get drinks. Sunbeds are 2.50 Euros for the day. There are water sports available on the beach. Outdoor Pool The outdoor pool was nice and a good temperature to swim in. There are plenty of sun beds and a changing facility and toilets at the pool.

“Great location, just not the right choice for us”

Firstly you cannot fault the location. Our Seaview room was breathtaking. The beach at Nissi is stunning, crystal clear waters and a nice beach. For us...we definitely picked the wrong hotel Pros Location Nice selection of food at breakfast, from fresh fruits,salads,continental, to the usual English breakfast. Cleaning...our cleaning lady was great daily cleaned, fresh bath and beach towels just fantastic! The spa is quite nice,very cold indoor pool but my massage was lovely at an extra cost we also enjoyed a treat in the steam and sauna. Cons Rooms are very small, two single beds pushed together...on wheels which mean the beds move constantly, I actually slipped through the middle twice,plus a single bed next to us for our teenager. Pool is basic,it serves a purpose. Some may say well you are 20ft from a beach...but my son loves a pool! Food and drink are ridiculously expensive Drinks are just so overpriced €5 for a coffee €10 cocktails and about €11 for a spirit and coke. The evening buffet is €33 per person, and having to pay that for my son who's 15. Room service food was good and a decent price. Entertainment at night is light...OK if your a much older age, paint playing etc. Zero evening entertainment for children. Overall it is a beautiful hotel....but if you have young children this is not for you at all,they will drive you insane and there's nothing really. Surrounding bars and restaurants are good, 5 to 10 min on the bus. Aria Napa is nice, it just depends what you are looking for in a hotel😌
