The best hotel, it met all my expectations,: nice staff, very clean, cosy rooms, awesome breakfast, professional massage service. Perfect location - few meters from perfect beach. Highly recommended

We had a great week away and didn’t want to leave. We received a very warm welcome with champagne and lemonade, just what we needed after a long day of travelling. We initially had an issue with our family room, which Themis dealt with swiftly, and an alternative room was offered. How a hotel handles situations such as this really defines their standards. We stayed on a B&B basis and breakfast was fabulous. Sparkling wine, fresh omelettes, a great egg station, and plenty of choice, with lots of staff on hand to assist. I am already missing my daily omelettes! The pool area has plenty of loungers. The pools were, as expected, quite cold this time of year, although still used on the hottest days of our stay. Drinks and food by the pool were reasonably priced and high quality. The brasserie and bistro menus were also great. We ate out in the evenings and found the walk to local restaurants in Ayia Napa perfectly fine. Not everything was open, but we still found some lovely places to enjoy local Cypriot food. See my restaurant reviews for suggestions. The hotel is close to the beach, with several beaches to the left and right. There is also a bus stop outside the hotel, and my daughter used it several times to head to the harbour and the caves. The indoor pool was a godsend on cooler days and a great place to relax, and the temperature was much more comfortable than the outdoor pool in April. The spa staff were friendly, and my daughter said the gym was good. We would most definitely return. The hotel is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The rooms have fantastic facilities, and the beds are comfortable and spacious. We very much look forward to returning.

Firstly we’ve been here five times so that shows what a great hotel this is or we wouldn’t keep coming back - although they don’t recognise repeat guests with any extra perks. We’ve seen over the years how the management have invested in the hotel, every year something is new or has been upgraded which as a returning guest is great to see. It also means we notice when service or food isn’t quite the same - this year in April there was a lack of activities, no music around the pool area. Service improvements: at breakfast they are quick to clear plates but slow to offer more coffee, it was frustrating to have to keep waiting for pancakes to be cooked, they would literally put 2 or 3 out at a time which meant standing and waiting. One evening we ate in the buffet and they gave us our bill while we were eating our starter which I didn’t like, at 8pm they start to set up tables for breakfast around you while you’re eating, in Theros bistro which is the a la carte they took my plate while my husband was still eating instead of waiting until everyone has finished, not typical of a 5* hotel. It would be good if the hotel started to recognise wellbeing more, and offered protein powder to be added to smoothies for after a gym workout, or health shots at breakfast, fresh berries at breakfast instead of cakes. The hotel is expensive which will invite small criticisms like this as expectation becomes high when guests are paying a premium. Cristoph in the lobby bar is fantastic, and our holiday was better because of him. Despite small frustrations we would visit again.
