Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a week stay at the Golden Coast Beach and we already want to go back. I don’t even know where to begin when writing this review because there is not a single thing I could fault with this hotel. Firstly, I’d like to mention just how excellent every single member of staff was. The entertainment team were bubbly and really made the stay enjoyable even in the quieter months. The bar staff were just as excellent and noticed that my partner was using a plastic cup to put used cigarettes on our first day and greeted us every morning since with an ash tray which was a lovely touch. All staff really went above and beyond to build a good rapport with all holidaymakers and it really did make our holiday. Each and every member of staff was a credit to the hotel and I have never had service like it. The food… incredible. The selection was fantastic, every day there were basic options available (pasta, salad, pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets etc..) for fussy eaters like me haha. Then every night was a themed menu which was always unbelievable. We originally booked full board however after how good the breakfast was we decided to upgrade to all inclusive which was very much worth it. The entertainment was a perfect combination of fun and classy. Inside they had events such as bingo evening, karaoke and tributes such as Michael Jackson which were always lively and enjoyable. Each night there was always a musician outside playing the saxophone, violin or piano for those who preferred a more relaxed environment. The hotel is located right on the beach front and has a lovely area for sunbathing both facing the swimming pool and facing the sea front. It is absolutely stunning from its interior to its views. I highly recommended the boat trips available, specifically the Aphrodite boat trip. These excursions can be booked at the hotel or if you are lucky enough can be won during the bingo evening 😂 They are currently in the process of building a marina next to the hotel and I was concerned about some comments regarding the construction noise however this was barely noticeable and did not affect our stay in any way. I honestly could not recommend this hotel highly enough and we are already planning to return next year.

Just back from an 11 night stay at this lovely hotel with its beautiful location. We were all inclusive plus , the food was great with plenty of choice we were well looked after with a happy face and good service by Stelios the maitre d And his team. Our upgraded sea view superior room with hot tub which was superb was sorted out by Antonis the Operations Manager who was very helpful and always making sure that everything was running smoothly around the hotel. There was plenty of free sun-beds around the pool and grassed areas. The beach was beautiful, 5 euros for 2 sun-beds all day which we thought was reasonable . The free beach towels changed daily was a nice touch from the hotel. The waiters and waitress around the bars were very good making sure your drinks were topped up again with great service. The staff at the reception were also very helpful with any questions or requests that we had . All in all we couldn’t fault this hotel and would give it 6 stars if we could so would definitely recommend it Thank you

“Building work at Golden beach hotel Cyprus - Easy jet stitch up.”

I booked this 5 day holiday at the Golden Beach Hotel in Cyprus with easy jet. 2 days before leaving I received an email part of which (in the small print) informed me that building work was going on around the hotel which might cause noise and disrupted our holiday. I booked this 5 day holiday at the Golden Beach Hotel in Cyprus with easy jet. 2 days before leaving I received an email part of which (in the small print) informed me that building work was going on around the hotel which might cause noise and disrupted our holiday. I called easyJet (45mins) who reassured me that there would be no issues, no noise - can’t even see the site, I then called the hotel who claimed the same. We arrived late in the dark. 8.00am on our first morning the building site started up with piling hammers, diggers and cranes. To cut a very long story short having sent a video to easyJet, they now deny sending prior notice of the works and have ignored the video. So disappointed, first holiday in 3 years and I feel we have been screwed by easy jet.
