Had a wonderful week at Toxotis hotel. Hotel is in a great location. There was a great choice of food was always hot and well presented. Restaurant staff were very attentive polite and cheerful. The bars were well stocked and couldn't fault any of the drinks again bar staff were so friendly and attentive, Sedvalina in the pool bar was exceptional. The pool area was fabulous, plenty of sun beds spotlessly clean the animation team were brilliant, always friendly and very entertaining. Lifeguards kept the pool area safe for everyone. The room was not the biggest but adequate it was cleaned and fresh towels for six out of seven days. I would advise to take clothes hangers as there were only two in the room. There was a bottle of water in the fridge on our arrival. Polina on reception was amazing she always had a friendly chat and informative about the area. Every single member of staff were friendly approachable and a credit to the hotel.

The hotel is actually very nice for a 3 star hotel. I am not one to be too fussed about the rooms as long as they are clean, and they do clean them every day and provide new towels. There are complimentary toiletries provided on arrival, but that’s about it, so it’s a bottle of water, they don’t provide them for the rest of your stay - this wasn’t a problem. There is no hairdryer in the room but you can hire one from the reception for a €10 deposit. The food is decent, they have a different cuisine each day and there are quite a few options to pick from. I am quite fussy when it comes to food, but I didn’t go hungry there. They do always make sure there is enough food available, you’re not left waiting for your pancakes in the morning or anything like that. The cocktails are not the best, but that didn’t bother me as I am not big on alcohol anyway. The products used are cheap, but it’s a 3 star hotel so don’t expect fancy drinks. The staff, however, absolutely AMAZING! They are all so nice and friendly. They are super attentive and they remember what you like to drink, if you prefer a type of fruit or where you like to sit for breakfast. They make sure you’re not left with empty plates in front of you. None of them asks or expects tips, they are nice to you regardless. There are tips boxes pretty much everywhere there is staff, I just popped money in there as that gets shared between them all, I don’t think there is one that deserves tips more than another as they are all equally friendly and nice. The location of the hotel is not too bad. It’s a bit far out, but if you prefer a quiet area the location is perfect for you. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby and the centre of Protaras is only 15-20 min walk away. The beach is about 8 min walk away and you can hire two sun lounges and an umbrella for €10. The hotel itself is not wow, but I would go back there for the staff, 100%, they made my stay so much better.

This hotel is amazing. Ignore any negative reviews. Food - amazing tasty food, breakfast was good. Plenty to choose from. Omelettes made at a station also. Pastries and cooked breakfast selection. . Lunch. Always lovely. Similar selection as dinner. The meats were soft and fell apart- dishes with a sauce were made with cream and were delicious. Smoked salmon creamy pasta from the cooking station was delicious. Chips and chicken nuggets and other items for picky eaters were also available. Desserts were gorgeous !! They have some great chefs working behind the scenes. Drinks are table service. Snack times. - served by the pool bar, pics on my review are of the snacks. The menu does not reflect what you get, food comes out well presented and big portions . Made to order burgers and sandwiches serves with fries. Great just too much ! Served 3 - 5 pm. Ice creams available all day. The chocolate ive cream sandwiches are yummy. Also 2 flavours of mini magnum style ice creams available. Service - outstanding for what we paid. Attentive and very friendly staff. We felt well looked after. Got to know you and your orders. Pool area is immaculate. Sun loungers were always available with no sun-bed wars ( it was half term). Lovely modern cabana beds and padded wooden sun loungers. People have moaned about the lifeguard- we found him to be pleasant , friendly and helpful. No issues. Drinks are lovely. Brand named soft drinks. Bus stop outside buses go all the way to Ayia Napa via Protaras for 2 Euro. 5 minute walk to a lovely selection of beaches. Shops and bars around corner. Late check out was 35 euros We will definitely be returning if prices stay as reasonable.
