A lovely two weeks stay at the Imperial, a couple of dodgy days weather wise but apart from that absolutely wonderful holiday. Christakis as always runs a tight ship and it’s great to see him and his managers constantly interacting with the guests. It’s a shame to see Viktoria move on within the group (great to see you by the way) but Biannca seems more than capable of stepping into the breach. Chris has a new right hand man, Phillip, who again was excellent and ensured that all the guests requirements were looked after and the new bar manager Alex was superb both from a bar management and interaction point of view (hope he got to enjoy the burger from Pigmalion!). Wonderful to stay during the Cypriot Easter festivals.

This was our first visit to Cyprus and we stayed here on recommendation of friends who stayed here a few years ago. We were on an all inclusive package with Tui. The hotel is situated on the coastal path which runs along the shoreline, we walked to Paphos harbour (20 mins) and Paphos Castle - a further 10 mins walk. We arrived to a warm welcome by the hotel staff, and we were greeted with a cold bottle of beer, or non alcoholic options of juices, checked in and went to our room. The room we had was simply decorated and had a sea view and view of the adult pool area with the palm trees swaying in the breeze, it was gorgeous. The food here is one of the highlights. Buffets - Breakfast offered everything you could think of, omelettes to order, fresh fruit, delicious greek yoghurt, pancakes, even marrow - which was lovely! Lunch was again a huge array of salad options, all presented with imagination and flavoured to perfection. Freshly cooked joints of meat, carved to order, fresh chicken fillets, vegetables - you name it. Dinner was another treat of freshly cooked, tasty food, my highlight was the Lamb Tavas. The best part for me though was the puddings!!! Chocolate Mousse cakes, some with cherry layers and a Chocolate Bombe with a cherry centre, Lemon Meringue pies, little pots of mousse with profiteroles - and a huge stack of them one night. Even Apple crumble and custard - the custard also being delicious! Again fresh fruit was on offer at every meal time and the oranges in particular were sweet and juicy - heavenly to have with the chocolate mousse! Restaurant staff who seated you at each meal were friendly and the plate clearing was very efficient too. It is a large restaurant which copes with alot of guests very well. Never had to queue for any food, or to get into the restaurant. They also have a Burger restaurant and a Japanese restaurant - we did not eat in either of these as there was plenty on offer in the main restaurant. Drink orders are taken very regularly by smiling, happy staff when sitting poolside in their very spacious gardens. One pool is adult only and the other pool is for families - a great idea, separated by the indoor pool, which was heated and a pleasure to swim in. Getting a sunbed is not an issue as there are plenty but if you want a particular spot then people do get up very early to lay towels down. Entertainment staff are also a credit to the hotel, Archery, stretching, boules, darts, water polo etc was on offer, and they were not always annoying you and asking if you wanted to partake - it is all very relaxed. Most days we played tennis on their court, all included in the package - it was marvellous! We had an amazing time - felt at home and would definitely stay here again - for the food and the staff who really make you feel like they would do anything for you to make your stay a happy one. They even waved us off when we all boarded the Tui bus to the airport - never seen that before - lovely touch. Thanks again everyone at Louis Imperial Beach Paphos!

It's difficult to know where to start my review of the Louis Imperial Beach Hotel, lets just say we had the best time here. From our arrival until our departure 11 days later, we felt like we were treated like royalty by the staff. Too many to mention individually, every single staff member we encountered was polite, helpful, chatty, smiley, funny and just all round pleasant. During one cocktail reception in main bar, we were fortunate to speak at length with the manager. Such a nice down to earth bloke who has obvious pride in giving his customers the best experience. And the hotel did just that. The hotel appears big on the outside, but the cleverly crafted spaces makes this seem cosy on the inside. The bar area was a particular favourite of ours, with always someone to engage and have a good chat with. The rooms are generous and well appointed. Other reviews point out that the furniture is somewhat dated, but the rooms are clean, spacious and airy, the bathrooms equally as spacious, modern, clean and good showers. I'd recommend getting a room with a sea view, such a delight to wake up to every day. The main restaurant is a help yourself buffet style affair. Entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted, asked where we wanted to be seated (always outside for us next to the pool) and then greeted again by a waiter who swiftly took our drinks order. The selection of choices on offer is incredible, the salad bars, hot food counters, dessert bar, all adorned with fresh and delicious food. Every night had a theme, but if you didn't fancy anything from the theme, there was always plenty of other things to try. Two other restaurants one offer were the Asian fusion experience, and the burger restaurant. Both gave great individual experiences and both served delicious food. Booking is recommended on arrival at the hotel, as they're very popular. Evening entertainment was good and 'entertaining'. Kids disco, bingo and an act of some sort was usually the order of the evening. We saw some great acts during our time there, the singer/comedian, the fire eater and the Cypriot dancers all very memorable. The animation team work hard to keep everyone entertained, and their efforts certainly paid off when we were there. In terms of space of outside, there are plenty of sunbeds in three distinct spaces, the quiet area next to the big pool, the lawned area towards the beach and the more active pool area, where all the pool sports and activities take place, so plenty of choice of spaces for everyone. Staff regularly patrolled all areas taking drinks orders (beers, cocktails, teas and coffees!). The nearby beach is small and had a rocky approach. The water was freezing when we're there (late April) so we never ventured in above our knees lol. If we needed refreshing, the pool hit the spot. Such was our experience here, we plan to return next year, and we never return to the same hotel. Be prepared to make friends here 😁, Highly recommended.

Firstly, let me say we had a lovely time at this hotel, the staff were wonderful, the food was great and the outlook and location were excellent. As previously mentioned by others there is a lovely walkway to Paphos harbour in one direction and to the small church in the other, this walkway takes you in front of all of the hotels in the area, several of them from the same Louis group. However if I am being honest, I found our bedroom bland, dated and in need of repair/ modernisation, the dining room was reminiscent of a school canteen with Formica tables, the approach from the main road less than impressive and apart from one male singer, the rest of the entertainment downstairs was pretty poor. It was obvious there were numerous returners to this hotel, and I understand why. If you are willing to overlook the minor points above, then you will enjoy this hotel as we did as the staff and the food were some of the best we have encountered on holiday.
