Paphos airport was efficient, no queues even at passport control. Ten minutes drive to the hotel but aircraft noise was not a problem. Check in was easy. A waiter came to offer drinks while we were completing the form. Our room overlooked one of the pools with views out to sea. It was newly renovated and offered plenty of space for luggage and storing or hanging clothes. The bathroom was a little tired. The bed was a comfortable double unlike most hotels we have stayed in recently which have two singles pushed together. Housekeeping was excellent. The staff were a credit to the hotel. The pools were a good size, the area around them and the gardens were very attractive. The sun loungers were comfortable and there was plenty of room to move them when required. This was a little out of season. The flumes were not in operation and the pool bar did not offer food, which was varied and good, until the latter part of our stay. The buffet offered a surprisingly wide range of very good quality meals. There was never a problem with seating. We cannot speak for the evening entertainment. There is a bus stop outside the hotel. The number 611 bus will take you to the centre of Paphos in 10 minutes for 2 euros. Check in for the return flight was fine as TUI had about 8 manned desks. We rarely consider a return visit to a holiday hotel but are planning to book again after Easter next year. Expectations were high after reading reviews but they were exceeded by our experiences.

“Amazing stay”

The best week away I’ve had in years. Travelled early April 03.04.24-10.04.24 just me and my daughter (5) having a girls holiday, whilst dad worked. I was nervous in the run up going just us two but upon arrival I felt right at home and so safe. We were greeted by the lovely manager and his colleagues with drinks and snacks which felt really thoughtful and personal. We checked in really smoothly with huge smiles and welcomes from the reception team. They provided a really helpful fact sheet on restaurant times and what was on offer, they also pointed out information boards so it was easy to get into the swing of how and when activities happened throughout the day. The boards cover a weeks view which was great to see what we would be up to. After this we went up to the room 3049. It was perfect lovely and clean really spacious for the two of us. We had a twin room and the beds were a great size! Everything worked perfectly and lots of storage space and plenty of hangers! Fresh towels and bedding and top ups of water in the fridge and, tea coffee kettle and milk also available and topped up daily. The hotel itself is beautiful the lobby features some beautiful decorations and the tables have extra little touches such as floating flowers and comfy chairs if you just want a break inside theres always a seat. Inside the hotel is a shop that contains well nearly everything you could need, toiletries, nappies, alcohol, snacks, shoes,toys, beach toys, bags, books, pop, sweets etc and is open early till late. There is also a shop across the road which had some items slightly cheaper but offered similar products I believe it was open 9-5pm. The pool areas all offer something different the children’s pool was a hit with my daughter and I’d say from 0 - 7 years is perfect the water height is enough for your child to lay down or kneel down but not a worrying height you’d need eyes in the back of your head for if they couldn’t swim. The slides and water features in the pool make it great fun for them too using their imagination. The water slides weren’t open when we were there as I believe they open in May - October but it didn’t stop us having any fun! The main pool has music on during the day which isn’t too loud and just adds to the environment giving that holiday buzz. It’s a great height to walk into my 5 year old could stand up comfortably and then deepens gradually 1/3rd through. The pool further to the back near the water slides is deeper but has a sit on ridge when you enter which is great for lounging in also great so I could have a swim but little one could join me safely staying to the ridge. The pool loungers have cushions on that are perfect they don’t get too hot and are super comfy! All come with tables and umbrellas and I never struggled to find a seat even when venturing down at 12:30pm one day. The team were constantly about without interfering to take away empty cups and any rubbish you have which is a great. The spa was lovely it was slightly cloudy on one of our days so we ventured in and spent almost 2 hours in the hot tub which is huge! The room never got steamy or uncomfortable just warm enough to relax without feeling like you’re going to melt, I didn’t book any treatments but it looked beautiful and the treatments on offer were very reasonably priced. You can find towels in here that don’t require a deposit just room number and can swap for clean ones daily 9-6pm. The food and drink was incredible! Everything was cooked beautifully and you could tell the chefs really cared about the quality and presentation, at no point did it ever look like most all inclusive do with burnt dishes or stains from where people have spilled it was always kept looking delightful. The all inclusive covers breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks (full items out for children including waffles and chocolate sauce) evening meals and evening snacks you’ll never go hungry! If you’re out for the day they even offer packed lunches! If your anything like me when returning home I always step on the scales and I gained an extra 10lbs in 1 week from all the amazing food options (diet starts tomorrow). I loved the themed evenings and being able to preview the menu which was updated and left outside the restaurant. The choices were always amazing and catered for everyone. Having the children’s station is extremely helpful as it meant my 5 year old could get her own food whilst I got my own. Staff would often help her with desert whilst I was finishing up my bits and this was really heart warming and helpful. The managers evening felt extra special and it was great to get to know the teams on a more personal level. They served out really well presented cocktails to all the guests and they looked and tasted incredible! The entertainment team are just inspirational, Leah Alex and Ryan WOW can they sing! The energy and creativity put into the shows and activities is infectious! Jamie is incredibly talented with the lights and music! All the entertainment team especially Alice were LOVED by my daughter! But really they were loved by me it takes incredibly selfless people to be so kind and caring all the time - I can’t thank them enough for every smile, every chat, every bit of effort they put into making sure everyone had the BEST time. Tui staff were also amazing mainly Tom and the lovely Charlotte from the tui kids club whom ensured Evie always had the best time and plenty of crafts to do! On the day of departure it was incredibly emotional all staff came to wave us off and Alex gave us one last Phaethon cheery send off as we held back tears. The further we got to the airport the more I instantly wanted to return as it was such a blessed week. Almost 1 week since we’ve been home and I’m still day dreaming of all the fun we had and how at peace we felt. Already looking at dates for 2025 - book it you really won’t regret it! CANT WAIT TO BE BACK!! Thank you to everyone who made these memories for life.

Stayed at Phaethon Beach for 4 weeks. This hotel is very well managed, friendly, clean and I enjoyed my time here. Food - one of the best I have come across. Drink - wine ok, not branded spirits but fine. Room - perfectly adequate, clean. Staff - amazing Entertainment - these people work so hard. Talented singers and believe me they can dance!! They have time for everyone. I didn't want to leave after a month and hope to return sometime! The coastal walk into Paphos is beautiful. Thank you everyone!
