Consider myself very lucky to have visited the Ambar from April 24-May 1st. From start to finish, I was overall very impressed, as were the others in my group. We had a few small hiccups at check in, but as a group of 10 that is to be expected. The blue welcome drinks and cold towels helped make the process better. The beach was incredibly beautiful and clear during our visit. Yes, you did need to be up early if you wanted a shaded spot close to the water, but well worth it in my opinion as we spent the majority of our day there. If you have an opportunity to get a leg and foot massage at your chair from Alexia, you are in for a treat. This wonderful lady walks the beach visiting the resorts offering her services and is a gem. I used her 3 times as her massages were top notch! Don’t pass her up! The pool scene was FUN! We loved to head here late afternoon when the Enterainment Staff were doing thier thing- the foam party in particular was a blast- don’t miss it! Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Housekeeping was very quick to bring anything we needed which was appreciated. The best drinks hands down were at the Lobby Bar. With that being said, Juan (beach server) was by far the sweetest person to interact with. Always had a smile on his face and brought the positive energy to our day. The food was fantastic! Lots of variety and fresh options at the buffet daily, including fresh grilled meat and fish options. The sports bar was lively and had some great snacks, the wings were popular for sure. However, it was the Smash Burger at the Batu Sports Bar at Esmeralda that stole my heart! For Al A Carte, we had reservations at 5 places: 👇 Don Pablo ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- great for special occasion celebration Portifino ⭐️⭐️⭐️- fast service!! Yurta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- exceptional dishes Meat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- lots of menu variety Tequilla ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 - lovely breezy spot *Don’t skip the Coffee Shop- those Cappuccinos and Fraps are wonderful ☕️ Sandwhiches were also great for a snack between meals. Entertainment is general is great! The White Party on the beach was packed and full of energy. The saxophone player, fantastic! Silent disco is always a fun time. And the foam party as previously mentioned, my fav!! The staff at this resort work hard and long hours to make this place the amazing resort it is. I would tell anyone who is on the fence to do it, there is little to complain about, and lots to be thankful for. Enjoy paradise if you have the chance ☀️ 🌊🥂

We booked this holiday for our 37 th wedding anniversary as we stayed at the Esmeralda 7 years prior and remembered it to be a lovely complex. Firstly the flight with TUI was exceptional with really friendly cabin crew that went out of the way to help even giving us a bottle of procecco and card for our anniversary which was a lovely surprise. Airport was as chaotic as I remembered from previous trips and finding our bus was a nightmare ( very busy). Arrival at hotel was via Aquamarine then golfing bus to Amber. Check in was quick and pleasant with flannel to freshen up. We went to book some restaurants and the concierge Jose was really friendly and able to do that for us from his little office in our block. Room lovely and clean, on our anniversary a banner was attached to the door and petals etc on entry into room on bed saying 1 ❤️U and a bottle of procecco and glasses arranged by Jose. However after the first week we came back after midnight to our room raining in and floor fairly flooded due to heavy rainfall. Took over an hour to get maintenance to check it out and another half hour for bell boy to collect our repacked suitcases and move to a different room in a block overlooking the pool ( better room than first one). So after unpacking again at 2am we we’re shattered. I complained to management as I felt this had spoilt our anniversary and was offered romantic meal on beach or spa which I declined due to getting bitten very badly. We then received chocolate covered strawberries and cava delivered to our room and a few hours later another bottle which was really appreciated. Thank you. Maid service excellent, Food in beach buffet bar basic but good wonderful staff, Entertainment staff work extremely hard and deserve a big Thank you especially mini me a cheeky loveable lad. Yaditka in the lobby bar always served us at our table with a big smile and even remembered our names. All restaurants were good our favourite being the Limbo. Overall a lovely holiday with hard working friendly staff definitely recommend. Oh and don’t believe everything you hear about sun beds on the beach and around the pool we never had any trouble finding one and we didn’t go down till 7.30/ 8 am however a lot on the beach not in a shaded area.

“A quick weekday get away turned unforgettable”

Kennin was amazing! She was never not available, she danced with us, made sure we had no issues with our stay. She was always around at the pool, the sports bar, or in the lobby entertaining guests and providing a good experience. Overall I would definitely return

Excellent Stay With Ambar Side. I Upgraded From Bahia Grand. No Bugs On Ambar Side And Food Was Amazing. All The Restaurants Were Excellent. Beach Very Clean. I Recommend Ambar Side OR Esmeralda Side Only. More Music By The Pool And Please Note No Elevators To Your Room. If that's an issue reque... more
