The location of the hotel is very good. It takes half an hour to walk 2 km to the center and 7 km to the airport. It is located by the sea and serves with an all-inclusive concept. The hotel is much bigger than it looks :). The rooms and the hotel were very clean, housekeeping came every day to clean the room and left new towels. It is a joint operation with the hotel next to it, so the beach area is like being used together. The sea is very beautiful, it would be a shame not to go :) Only the food was disappointing. It was edible but not tasty. Everything about this hotel is perfect, except the food, but if I come again, my choice would be this hotel again. We traveled as 5 people and everyone was extremely happy.

Nice hotel genrally, good location not far from airport and within walking distance to the Marina .Check in was smooth and trouble free watch out for the consierge trick one will take you and show you your room ,you give him a tip another one brings your bags 10 minutes later and he wants a tip also this could have been done at the same time . Our room was large and had a balcony over looking the pool bar which was noisy until about 11pm but this was not an issue for us . The pool was nice and warm and large but the sun bathing option was poor too many beds crammed together and fixed shade ,also most of the beds were taken by 9am so the beach was by far the best option if you wanted Sun .The hotel is mainly German and Easter European guests very few Brits but not an issue for us . Cleanliness was good in all areas with bottled water and fresh towels in your room every day . Food was plenty full and varied with a different theme night each night however it was not hot enough should be kept at 65c to be safe but was no where near as a result some people including myself were hit with D and V which was not pleasent and required treatment by anti biotics for three days . We preffered the lobby bar for drinks as they were served in proper glasses and not plastic and the service was better than the pool bar ,sevice in general was good through out but there were a couple of surley waiters .Beach area was the star loads of sun beds steps into the clear sea the colour of the sea was amazing and there was always a nice breeze infact it was quite windy but it was needed to ward off the heat ,there are two more hotels in the complex and it was a nice walk around the bay to the small marina next to the Arabia Azur hotel .Plenty of shops just outside the hotel for a browse after dinner the fixed price shop was great with loads of stuff and no hassle it was also nice to walk down to the sea after dinner where you could see the fish swimming by spotlights . just one issue with our room a slip mat in the shower would be helpfull we used a towel . We would return to BelAir Azur despite me being ill it was agood holiday overall.

Pool area and the pool view room we had were of good quality. Food choice was poor evening meal was lukewarm warm and the food was not suited to a british menu which is understandable as most guests were german. Pool area and the pool view room we had were of good quality. Food choice was poor evening meal was lukewarm warm and the food was not suited to a british menu which is understandable as most guests were german. Advertised as 4 bars but 2 were not stocked and only the lobby bar open after 10pm. Well located with the usual tourist shops in walking distance. We only stayed 1 night at the end of an extended trip in Egypt. Was good value for what we paid but wouldn’t to have been there for a week

The hotel is lovely, a little dated but has a beautiful pool area and majority of staff are polite. Cons: 1. Room cleaners hassling for tips and shouting down hallway after you which made us not want to go back to the room until we knew it was done and cleaner had left. 2. Contrary to other reviews you are NOT allowed to eat in the sister hotel (Arabia) or drink at their beach bars unless you tip the bar staff. They said they would serve us but made it clear without actually saying the words that they expected a tip in return for breaching their rules. 3. Bel Air has tiny 'beach' area which is actually just a patch of hard ground covered in a dusting of sand with a wall around the sea entered only down swimming pool style metal steps. Arabia has beautiful cove beach and multiple beach bars. 4. Hassled all day long by (some) rude hotel staff trying to sell anything and everything. We thought within the hotel complex we would be free from this but all day they wake you/disturb you selling massage, portraits, day trips, restaurant meals, the list was endless. 5. Wi-fi...forget it, none existent. 6. Food, average at best, served cold on more than one occassion and we are definitely not fussy eaters. Very dissatisfied as the reviews we saw said the food was amazing?? 7. Hotel 90% German (towels on beds at 6am) and hotel aimed at them. All staff spoke fluent German and pretty uninterested when we said we were from the UK and struggled with English. Pros: 1. Great air con. 2. Lovely shower and very spacious room with huge balcony which was lovely. 3. Helpful reception staff helped me suprise my wife with birthday flowers etc so that was great. 4. Beautiful pool area, spacious and very clean. Overall we had a satisfactory stay, the weather was perfect and no upset tummies so can't complain. Would we return, no, just not made to feel welcome as Brits and the persistent sales pitches and hassling for tips was just too much for us. We do of course wish the hotel the very best and thank them for our stay.
