It is the bar, catering staff, housekeeping and entertainment staff that make it this good, but the front desk or reception staff. We have just come back after a 10 day holiday. On arrival we asked about a late checkout on departure day as we had a night flight. Was told by receptionist yes that’s not a problem come back day before and it will be €30. Guess what went back as advised to be told no they were full. Thankfully my husband insisted and we got it. We were lucky. A few people that really did make our stay amazing: Mohammed Mahmoud, Michael Amir, Mostafa Rashfat, Mohamed Fawzy, Sabry Elsayed, Mohamed Ali, Mohamed Abdel Moez, Samaeh Mohammed, Mahmoud Mohammed from the Cascade bar, Ali from Cactus and the amazing hardworking Eslam the lifeguard who never stops trying to make your stay amazing.

I always read reviews before choosing the right hotel for family holidays so I had high expectations for Long Beach Resort as reviews everywhere, including on the Facebook groups were amazing. And now I can confirm, that all these reviews are totally deserved. The resort is beautiful and it spreads across large area, with many pools, restaurants and bars, so it never feels crowded. There are always free sunlounges at the pools, which was really nice as in Türkiye we always had to wake up at7 AM to make sure that we can get one! all staff are hard working, very polite and always smiling. The manager Mohamed Hassan is such a nice and kind person. He arranged for us to have rooms close to our grandparents who travelled separately from different country. The rooms we were given were absolutely amazing! Whenever we met him he always checked if everything was OK and if we were satisfied. When our son fell ill he helped us to get urgent medical care at the hotel medical centre and arranged buggy to drive us around several times. The Doctor and Nurse at the medical centre are amazing and provided great care. We like to try different hotels when we travel for holidays and so far we never returned to one we've been before. But we were so happy here, than we are already looking to book it for next year. Thank you very much to all at Long Beach Resort!

It was our first time in Egypt and first time away on our own as a couple so we were slightly nervous. We are well travelled in the canaries and wanted to try somewhere new. We were in a standard room which originally had 2 single beds which was not an issue as we moved them together. However, after a few days, we were moved to a different room that was much better. Cleanliness: - The hotel is spotless everywhere you go. Cleaning staff clearly work very hard around the hotel to make sure floors are squeaky clean. This goes for the pool, beach, reception and the rooms. Entertainment: - The entertainment is quite repetitive and basic. It was one area of the holiday that we did not enjoy very much. During the evenings there were singers and some shows involving the audience. During the day, there were yoga sessions and the occasional foam party on the beach. Food: - Our first day was a struggle as we were trying to find our way with the Egyptian style food which we were not used to. However, as the days progressed, we managed to find lots to eat from the enormous selection of food. 80% of the food was very edible and tasted quite good. - Our only issue with eating times is that it gets very busy in the D’White restaurant as 50% of the food is cooked and served to you there and then. Although this is brilliant for freshness, it can cause long queues. Despite this, we mostly ate in the Cascade “Breeze” restaurant which was much quieter and found it to be much better quality. Beach: - The beach is very clean and has some amazing views. There is a snorkeling spot at the end of the pier which is good if you have a mask. - There is plenty of space and sunbeds on the beach which makes it very easy to find a spot. Pool: - We only used the main pool area so we cannot comment on the others. However, the main pool area does have a lot of space and just enough sunbeds to always find some. Our only complaint is that it can be hard to find spots with no shade due to the giant umbrellas all around the pool. However, we were grateful for them sometimes because of how hot it was! Rooms: - Rooms are always cleaned well and cleaners organise your toiletries every day which is nice to come back to. All rooms are given 2 large water bottles every day which is very much needed when temperatures are over 30 at 9am! Staff mentions: Mostafa in the Cascade restaurant was brilliant! He was serving the omelettes every day and acknowledged me every morning when I came to get mine. He was very hard working and made the best omelettes. All staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure everything was going well in all parts of the holiday. Overall a brilliant holiday and great first time in Egypt. We would definitely return for a similar price as it was very relaxing and enjoyable. The resort was visually stunning and was very nice to wake up to every morning.
