We had an absolutely amazing stay at Fort Arabesque Villas & Spa at the end of March, spending 10 days in one of the villas—and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. A special mention must go to the housekeeping team—Ahmed and Ramadan—who looked after our villa impeccably. They visited twice daily, morning and evening, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We were treated to fresh, fluffy white towels, and the minibar was generously restocked with soft drinks, milk, chocolate, beers, as well as crisps and nuts. Our swim-up villa pool was a real highlight—beautifully heated, spotlessly clean every morning, and surrounded by perfectly maintained gardens and greenery. It felt like a private oasis. The à la carte restaurants were outstanding, easily on par with Michelin-quality dining. The food was consistently delicious and a real highlight of the trip. We did experience a minor issue with the air conditioning in the villa, but it was resolved immediately. These things can happen anywhere, and what really matters is how they’re handled—and in this case, the response was flawless. The villa operations manager was highly professional, efficient, and ensured everything was sorted without delay. The beach area was equally impressive. Having our own private cabana right on the water’s edge was such a luxury, and the added touch of a personal cold box stocked with chilled soft drinks made it even more special. Overall, this was an exceptional holiday, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. The combination of beautiful surroundings, outstanding service, and attention to detail made it truly unforgettable.

Location, sea, beach, room, food, service, atmosphere, people, surroundings, and cleanliness — everything was excellent. I know there are more luxurious hotels, but this one truly has everything you need. What I especially loved is that there are both budget and luxury room options, which is a big plus — and the beach and sea are honestly even better than in some nearby high-end hotels. I was initially worried because my husband couldn’t travel with me and my daughter, and I felt a bit anxious due to the situation in the region. But there was absolutely no need to worry. The level of safety and the attitude of local people were incredible. I genuinely felt even more protected than I do in London. The people are warm, respectful, and truly welcoming. It made the whole experience even more special. I will definitely be coming back. Love you, Egypt ❤️ Overall, this has been one of the most positive experiences I’ve ever had.

I'm writing two reviews as we stayed in the villas and comparing them with the rest of the hotel is somewhat unfair. The swim up villas are quite stunning. Huge rooms with comfortable beds, big showers, comfortable lounge, stocked mini bar and coffee facilities. Outside a large private patio with loungers, chairs and of course your swim up pool that you share with five other villas but most of the day have to yourself. The Villas also come with enhanced dining options. The Pavilion for breakfast and dinner both of which are table service and quite superb with a wide range of dishes to keep 'most' people more than happy. The breakfast selection both hot and cold was to be commended. Club 159 for lunch and dinner provides villa guests with the best view over Makadi Bay, attentive and friendly service and great luck and dinner options. Sitting in 159 in the late afternoon with a cold drink and watching the sun slowly set is a very lovely experience. Of course you get to use the rest of the hotels bars and restaurants so you are never short of options although I'll cover those in my hotel review. The grounds at Fort Arabesque are simply stunning and not enough credit goes to the gardeners and 'green teams' that keep the place looking like paradise. Overall this stay gave us the experience of 'high end' luxury at a fraction of the price and it is somewhere that we will definitely return to as there is a new 'resort' being built and new dining options coming on stream later this year
