It's not perfect but for the price it's very close! Still here just finishing a 10 night stay and I would say we would love to return! We have not had any problems finding something to eat, there are soooo many restaurants to choose from if you are on a holiday less that 10 nights you'll struggle to visit them all. There is some truth in what people say about the replication of dishes in each restaurant but on top of that there is always some unique dishes in each restaurant that makes it fun to try. We have no gripes on the food and found it to be a strength rather than a weakness here. The water park is huge and there are slides for all sizes and bravery levels, it is the jewel in the crown as it means you cN stay on site the whole day and the kids will not EVER say the words I'm bored! There is also a surf simulator, a wave river and a climbing rig with a wet theme (height restrictions apply). You do get guys coming round the pool selling services at the hotel but they are respectful when you say no thanks and move on. The lifeguards are there first thing in the morning ready to supervise and last thing at night cleaning up the pool and making it perfect for the morning, they are great and help the adults to relax knowing they are watching for your child's safety. We started in room 5838 which is slap bang in the middle of a place called Midway. This is the area with all the rides so it was big smiles from the kids as we had 2 steps to walk to get to the madness of the rides, popcorn, dough balls and candyfloss every night. We found at the start the rides stopped at 10pm which made the room bearable noise wise but as the days passed it went to 10.30pm then 11pm and on day 6 11.30pm. We could hear every rides music and the screams of the happy children so we asked to move to a quieter part of the complex. They were sympathetic and within the day we went to our new room 5009 with a pool just outside our patio, it's heaven! So happy! The staff are amazing, always happy, they say hello and smile. Very hard working and a real asset to the hotel. The bar staff are great and with a small tip your glass will never be empty. The spirits are very basic and the cocktails not great but the measures are huge and after a few drinks you'll not care! Entertainment is limited except when you go to the Neverland show, wow that was a great night and great entertainment for all, felt like a special night out. Add all this together and throw in the Egyptian museum, the bakery in the reception area, the free ice cream, the bbq every night with seafood etc, the beach inc buffet and drinks down the road which a bus will drop off and pick you up this made it one of the best family holidays we've every had and we're already planning our next stay. 9/10
