Great for relaxing with family with high food quality (highest I have seen actually). Golf course aside, the resort itself is pretty small where everywhere is reachable within 5 minutes max (i.e. beach, reception, restaurant, room) which is good for those who don't like too much sun. Staff is quite hospitable and very attentive. All signs were written in German and English.

I had an incredible stay at the Steigenberger Golf Resort in Egypt, and I would like to thank the entire team for making these holidays unforgettable. A huge thank you to the housekeeping staff for their outstanding work. I would especially like to thank Islam, who took care of our room with great attention and professionalism. The room was always spotless, clean, and beautifully prepared every day. I would also like to thank the reception staff, who were always smiling, professional, and ready to help at any time. I would also like to thank the pool team for their kindness, positive attitude, and attentiveness to the guests. A special thank you to Hossam, the pool manager, for his warm welcome and professionalism. Finally, a big thank you to Ammar, Tarek, Youssef, Sherif, as well as everyone I had the pleasure of meeting during my stay. Your hospitality, generosity, and smiles made all the difference. You helped create wonderful memories that I will never forget. I highly recommend this hotel without hesitation, and I hope to have the opportunity to come back one day!

If I had to give a title to this stay, I would call it “A Haven of Peace.” From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was simply perfect. First, I would like to highlight the outstanding service. At the pool, we had the pleasure of meeting Tarek (the official lookalike of President Barack Obama!) and Hosam, who quickly became our guide throughout our stay. Both of them were exceptionally kind, attentive, and professional. They truly turned our vacation into a little paradise. Hosam, if you happen to read this review, please know that we genuinely appreciated you. Your kindness, positive energy, and dedication made a real difference to our experience. You are a wonderful person, and we will remember you fondly. We also met Sabry Fawsy Ahmed and Mustafa at the bar. These young men were absolutely fantastic. Always smiling, friendly, and eager to help, they contributed greatly to making our stay unforgettable. Their excellent service and warm hospitality deserve special recognition. As for the entertainment team, Sam. He kept us laughing throughout our stay and knew exactly how to create a great atmosphere. His energy, humor, and enthusiasm brought so much joy to our days. The hotel itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The grounds are stunning, the facilities are spotless, and every area reflects the care and attention given by the staff. Guests can enjoy both the swimming pool and the lagoon, which provide a peaceful and relaxing environment, perfect for unwinding and escaping everyday stress. The food was another highlight of our stay. It was delicious, fresh, and varied, with something for everyone. I chose this hotel because of its location in El Gouna, which I consider one of the best tourist destinations in Egypt. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Check-in took more than 20 minutes despite completing the Web Check-in process in advance and entering all my information, and I was then asked to repeat the entire process manually upon arrival. I also had difficulty adding my H Rewards membership number because the staff were not familiar with how the program works, and I had to explain it several times. Despite being promised that the points would be added after check-out, they have still not been credited. In addition, the hotel does not have a beach or a direct sea view. It is located on a lagoon and only has a small swimming pool. Overall, the location is good, but the level of service and organization needs improvement.
