Thank you for making our holiday so special! All kinds of activities suitable for all tastes, ages and preferences. The a la carte restaurants are awesome, definetely check them out, although food at the main restaurant is great and diverse. Parties/activities every day/night. A nice touch with the bigscreen for watching the World Cup. Snorkeling from the deck on the coral reef is like warching animal planet documentaries in real life! Super kind staff, everybody smiling, from the restaurant to the room service to the beach! A special shoutout to Amr from the beachbar, awesome guy, hope to see you next year, because we will definetely come back! Can't wait to hear "welcome home" from the receptionist again!

So we have just come back from our holiday in Hurghada, we came to Hurghada 8 years ago and stayed in Sunrise Mamlouk Palace which is next door to this hotel and you can use the facilities in both hotels. So i'll be totally honest with my review. Hotel - superb 5 starts Staff - 5 stars Location - it is right on the beach with a lot of restaurants and facilities around. 5 stars. Entertainment and animation team - 3.5 stars. I will go into this in more detail later on in the review So we arrived on the 30th May quite late in the evening the hotel has food at different times so caters to all guests coming and going at all times. We were welcomed with drinks at reception the staff were fantastic from the very beginning, we were checked in whislt we ate food. Breakfast - 6.30 till 10.30 Lunch - 12. 30 - 3.30 Dinner - 7.00 till 10.30 Late dinner 10.30 till 1.00 am ( small selection of rice, meat, veg, bread, fruit, cheese and cold cuts) The first day we missed breakfast because we over slept. The days there were spent sitting by the pool, watching the our kids play on the slides which they thoroughly enjoyed day after day. The hotel staff was amazing especially the cleaner and the lifeguard. The cleaner on building 4 you were amazing he would leave all kinds of towel art, all different animals from elephants to monkeys. My kids loved them and would look forward to come back to the room so they could see the towel art he left them. The lifeguard Abdo, gave me his number so we could go to the Al Dahar markets just so he can help me with the arabic and looking for stuff and negotiate a good deal for me. However because we were on the last day i didnt end up going. He was such a nice guy! Hats off to him. Now the entertainment was quite disappointing. There was a childrens disco at 8.30 most nights at the roman theatre however some days it was cut short for the adult entertainment. The animation team did not tell you what was going on and the plans for the evening so most nights we ended up guessing what was going by following the crowd. There was a carnival 1 night which we ended up finding out because the was no mini disco happening that night at the usual time we heard music and was curious what it was for, followed the music and ended up at the front of the hotel where a carnival with a firework display was happening. On friday the mini disco changed times and we were not informed it was earlier so the kids ended up missing it, however there was "beyonce" tribute act which we were not told about. The roman theatre where they do most of their shows after the mini disco is so hot and it becomes unbearably hot. Again, its the same kind of show just people dancing which becomes boring and repetitive. So if any suggestion i would say a little card in each room on check in to tell the guests the schedule of events would be super helpful and informative. Do not go in the shops at the hotel they are super expensive, there are loads of shops across the road, and a cleopatra bazaar. Which can be expensive but you can negotiate it down to your asking price. If you do fancy going out to the market its around 25 minute drive. Use the InDrive app rather than uber or taxis as they will try and rip you off. We used indrive it costed us 70p most times. Which is insane prices for taxis. Overall it was 4.5 star experience. We would go back as long as the entertainment and animation team takes our feedback on board.
