Excited yes why because I am about to visit my favourite place and extremely favourite people yes the Oberoi sahl hasheesh I always read the reviews to see what's been going on Nosey no just fascinated in people's opinions There has been many changes in recent times ,I would say each time we visit the place improves on opulence and five star service But how do you improve the staff You do not " they go above and beyond to every guest Your first visit or as many as us I imagine like us many class the guys and gals as friends ,I would like to think the same regard is returned But I know it is 37 days and counting Excited of course who wouldn't be As they say welcome Home Chef Stephen Yes my friends it truly is my Home from home

We had an absolutely exceptional stay from beginning to end. The hotel exceeded all of our expectations, but what truly made the difference was the incredible staff. Every member of the team was genuinely caring, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. I would like to thank them once again for their kindness and professionalism. We were also touched by several unexpected gestures and thoughtful surprises throughout our stay. These little attentions made us feel truly valued and created unforgettable memories. It is clear that the hotel genuinely cares about its guests and goes above and beyond to make every stay special. We honestly cannot thank the entire team enough for making this such a wonderful experience. It is rare to find a hotel where every detail is handled with so much care and where guests are made to feel so welcome. One thing is certain: every time we visit Egypt in the future, we will choose this beautiful hotel without hesitation. We will also gladly recommend it to our family and friends. This was our second visit to The Oberoi Beach Resort, Sahl Hasheesh, and this time I travelled with my wife, parents and our young son. The property holds a special place for our family, particularly because it is one of the few resorts in Egypt offering high-quality vegetarian Indian food—and once again, it did not disappoint. The people are undoubtedly the greatest strength of this property. The entire team goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. Mr. Maher Sadek, who heads the Rooms Division, is a highly experienced and professional hotelier. He personally ensured that our stay was comfortable and that the special requirements of my parents were attended to on priority. Madeeh, Masoud, Magdy and several other team members were consistently courteous, attentive and helpful, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. Food was one of the major highlights of our visit. The culinary team led by Head Chef Pappu Singh is phenomenal. The Indian food was authentic and comparable to what one would expect at a high-quality restaurant in India. Chef Shevendu and Chef Chandra also took exceptional care in accommodating the dietary requirements of my parents and preparing suitable meals for our son. This level of personal attention made a significant difference to our overall experience. The resort itself has a peaceful atmosphere, spacious surroundings and a beautiful house reef. However, some parts of the property would benefit from refurbishment, particularly the furniture in the rooms and restaurant areas, which now feels somewhat dated. We also noticed some plastic waste while snorkelling at the house reef, which was disappointing for a property of this standard and should be addressed through more frequent reef and shoreline cleaning. Overall, we had a wonderful family stay, driven largely by the exceptional service and outstanding food. With some investment in refurbishment and greater attention to environmental cleanliness around the reef, the property can further strengthen its position as one of the most distinctive luxury resorts in the Red Sea.
