We come last year 2025 where my other half broke his hand the hotel staff all from cleaners to mangers to bar staff and swimming pool stuff really helped and was so helpful and kind the reception manger even changed our room and was amazing and helped give us late check out as he couldn't be in the sun to much as off hand and stuff this year may 2026 we have come back for longer and they have been so helpful kind great people and even helped with late check out snd a better room then we booked and payed for there so accommodating and helpful, kind amazing people we even booking to come back in 2027 with more people and family that's how amazing this place is they really look after you the reception manger even changed our room and was amazing and helped give us late check out as he couldn't be in the sun to much as off hand and stuff this year may 2026 we have come back for longer and they have been so helpful kind great people and even helped with late check out snd a better room then we booked and payed for there so accommodating and helpful, kind amazing people we even booking to come back in 2027 with more people and family that's how amazing this place is they really look after you Big doing out to the reception manger off the hotel Ahmed Mostafa Defo recommend this hotel amazing people and staff we loads to do and so helpful

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we absolutely love it we’re booking to come back next year with family The hotel is massive with loads of pools and waterslides with the added bonus of being able to use the aqua park across the road for free with even more water slides The rooms are very spacious and have everything you could want/need Plenty of different dining options to suit all eating habits and food is available pretty much 24/7 Every single member of staff from the life guards, house keepers, catering staff go above and beyond to ensure that every single need you could think of is done for you in a timely manner A special shout out to the hotel reception manager Ahmed Mostafa for just being a top geezer ❤️

So I returned from the pickalbatros aqua blu yesterday. The week I had there was lovely, the waterpark is amazing, the pools are really well looked after and the lifeguards are all very friendly and helpful. In fact all of the staff were so welcoming and friendly, I cant rate them highly enough, I am going to put a couple of special mentions in for our room cleaner, Ibrahim Mahor whose towel art is a whole different level and also our waiter Mohamed Ahmed who was genuinely lovely and made myself and my son feel absolutely welcome. However they are just 2, all of the bar and wait staff were incredibly helpful, just do please remember to make an effort and tip them. The staff members to absolutely avoid are the Dive fun staff that sell massively overpriced day trips etc by the pools. You do not need to be ripped off by them, it's really simple to book days out online and costs half the price. Also the spa staff, give a really hard sell and you start to feel like they are stalking you. The rooms (we had a family room with sliding door) are well maintained and spacious. Also the coffee shop is very well run and offers not only very well made coffees but also a huge selection of delicious pastries and cakes. The other food places all have a large selection however if you have any dietary requirements, such as being vegetarian or gluten free, you will struggle as the labelling is incredibly poor. Many stray cats to be found on the site, in fact i would suggest it maybe an idea for the management to put in a feeding station, I have visited other hotels that do this and if there is a small charge for feeding the cats, they could then reinvest the money on neutering them so there are not tiny kittens all over the place. Anyway, would I recommend the pickalbatros, yes definitely, just stay away from the Dive fun staff unless you have a bottomless wallet.
