We stayed here for two weeks from 20th march.. The hotel is stunning and spotlessly clean.rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard by our lovely cleaner in the 5000 block.i have never seen so much cleaning going on at all hours around the hotel.we stayed mountain side it is huge.3massive pools with two pool bars with very friendly barmen who always remembered our drinks ( sorry forgot their names ) the staff are amazing and a credit to the hotel especially ahmed wael and maged in the lobby bars and the two young girls ( cheers mate😂) also a big mention for Mostafa the waiter a lovely smiley lad who always had beers on our table even before we sat down and couldnt do enough for us☺️food was very good always found something nice to eat with plenty of choice👌 only negatives was the bar staff are very stretched at times so they could do with some help and maybe some entertainment in lobby bars or some music

We stayed at the Mountain side property for a short extended weekend break. Initially there were a few issues with the room we were allocated, however these were resolved via Guest Relations and our tour company so this review is just based on the actual holiday experience. The hotel is spacious and clean. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there are several pools, some with slides. The rooms are in need of a little TLC but are perfectly functional and housekeeping work extremely hard to keep things clean. All of the staff are polite and do their best to assist, when required. Food choices are varied and several vegetarian options are available. There have been reviews pertaining to the food being cold...we did not experience this. The food was hot and staff members were seen checking the temperature with thermometers at dinner (we dined quite late) so it was encouraging to see the food was still being monitored. The Mountain side is flat and larger than the Beach side which is smaller but less dated. The bus between the two properties runs at regular intervals, though it is easily walkable if you don't mind slopes. The staff work extremely hard so they are appreciative of tips...obviously not mandatory. A big thank you to Khoder Ismail in the restaurant who always took care of our drinks etc and to the omelette man in the mornings who greeted us with a warm smile. There are certain things that are associated with Hilton properties worldwide which are not evident here but if you ignore that and judge the property on the experience it provides and the value for money you will not be disappointed. The resort is within 10 mins walk of Soho Square with shops, bowling, ice rink etc but there is not much else around. The Animation Team are not very active and there is not a lot to do in the resort itself but for a short relaxation break it is fine. The location is 10 mins drive from the airport and you can see planes taking off from the Lobby bar. There is some aircraft noise, especially in the area where the adult pool is situated. In summary this is a safe, clean hotel with great staff .

The hotel is very nice with great pools and nice bar areas to sit and relax, we're staying on the mountainside at the moment and for us it was the better choice as we like a big pool , The food for us is a let down compared to any other holidays we have had not much choice not even able to get something like pizza or chips if you're not wishing to be adventurous there is very little service as we're definitely used to being serve drinks when you're dining, the hotel is in a good location though as it's a small walk to Soho Square and only a small ride to naama bay,

Overall, a good experience, however some better points and some not so good. Room : We stayed in the Beachside (Mountainside being the other half of the hotel about 3 mins walk). Our room was a Premium King Garden View in block 10, which was modern and a large patio overlooking the garden area, which suited us perfectly. Very quiet, but most evenings, the site would be treated with smoke for the mosquitos. This was only a 5 minute inconvenience but very much needed. Speaking to other couples who arrived on the same day, they stayed on the mountainside and expressed huge disappointment in the rooms, being old and dated and tired looking. The hotel is renovating and has almost completed the Beachside, only block 5 now currently being done. Reception - Beachside reception might as well not be there, as everything we asked we were told to go to the Mountainside. This definitely seems to be a theme. They are very helpful there, from booking taxis, padel courts, general queries etc. Meals - we arrived late after the main restaurant had finished serving, however they do offer later check-in meals on the Mountainside from 11pm to 1am. Basic but sufficient at that time of night! As we were Beachside, all our meals were in that side. All meals are buffet style and appears to have plenty on offer, but hard to 'construct' a meal unless you liked beef stew with spring rolls and mexican rice!!! Mainly lukewarm and very much hit and miss. There was a pasta station offering basic spag bol, salad station, plenty of desserts and fresh breads and a couple of different soups each day. Plenty of fruits and meat quality was generally ok. Dishes were constantly being refreshed so not running out of things. We always found something to eat. We were given two vouchers for our 2 week stay, to be used in the A La Carte restaurants. One being House of Asia on the Mountainside and the other being Cala on the Beachside. House of Asia was lovely, very welcoming, great service, and good tasty food, like sushi and beef compound, thai curry was ok but could have done with more chillis!. Cala, on the other hand, I would just not bother if I were you!! We arrived and no-one even said hello or looked at us. We were finally taken to a table, we wanted upstairs indoors, however were refused on this occasion ( a party I believe) and were seated downstairs outside. We finally had our order taken but it had started to rain and we had to move ourselves to slightly sheltered area, although still getting wet. Tomato soup for starters was cold, both our main dishes were lukewarm and when I said about dessert 'what is creme catalana' the waiter shrugged his shoulders and said 'try it' Turns out it's a plate of cold custard with the skin on top!!! When we asked for another glass of red wine, the glass got even smaller! With both Cala and House of Asia, you have a voucher and a set menu to chose from, although I believe you could have paid for a better menu choice and maybe better food. But the difference between the service in the two restaurants was massive. Well done to House of Asia 👏 Staff - Restaurant staff were very friendly, especially Fatima, Lobna and Ahmed, as many other reviews have said, going out of their way to be helpful. Everyone was very friendly and asking if we were ok or if we needed anything. Great job 🙌 Lobby staff at Beachside, specifically Ahmed, we felt was very unhelpful, sending us to Mountainside or come back tomorrow after 10am!!!! Bar staff have generally been welcoming. The Olympic Bar (Mountainside) had more atmosphere and friendly greetings. The lobby bar at the Beachside was unwelcoming, with no interactions whatsoever. Cleaners - common areas are always being cleaned and swept. Our room, cleaned by Mohammad, was lovely and always creating 'towel sculptures' Beach staff were helpful in moving beds and very friendly. Only a couple of interruptions during the day, about hotel massage, diving etc, but politely said no thanks and that was that. I'd read about the horrendous loud music down there on the beach. This was not the case. A couple of moments during the day, the music was loud to drum up attention of the performances about to start. Neighbouring hotels did however kick in, quite loud, but not really any issues. The beach itself it tiny, with a pontoon to walk out over the coral reef to snorkel, which was great. There are a number of levels on the beach front with sunbeds, so easy to pick your spot. Entertainment- was slightly lacking! Entertainers clearly work hard but if you saw the show down the beach, then you didn't need ti swe it again at night. Not much more to say on the Entertainment, other than maybe it just all happened when we weren't around!! One final good point was booking a taxi in the Mountainside lobby. We went to Old Market (30 mins away) and Naama Bay (20 mins away). With occasions we booked return taxis and were given a little phone to dial the office for when we ere ready to be collected. No worries about how we were going to get home etc. Bit more pricy but the premium made us feel more confident and safe in getting back to the hotel. Overall, we had a good stay, good room, some really good staff but certainly areas requiring improvement!
