Great hotel! The hotel itself is pretty standard - but the staff of amazing! Sweet, social and accommodating! They have events and activities everyday, but there is no pressure to join - but if you do they take great care of you! If you go clubbing with the staff, they keep you very safe!! Everything is clean, location is perfect, the food is great and you are not allowed to reserve pool chairs, so there is always space for everyone! I would and will come back ❤️

The hotel is advertised as accessible and with lifts. The place has no lifts and you have to go through a back of house workshop to get to rooms. The hotel is advertised as accessible and with lifts. The place has no lifts and you have to go through a back of house workshop to get to rooms. Everything has steps or super steep ramps built for suitcases as they're too narrow for a wheelchair. The food was repetative and bland. We bought some sauces from the supermarket to spruce it up a bit. You need to get there early too as sometimes the food isn't replenished and you miss out if a dish is popular. Saturday night's was better food if you like seafood. Lovely bbq with different fish and juicy prawns. The standard beer was 10% abv! It was nice from the poolside bar as they used bottled but the night bar upstairs was bitter and awful. It needed a blooming good line clean. The wine was only at the pool bar and had to be get early as they run out of that too. You cant get bottled water downstairs. Only one use plastic cups can be used to fill. The plastic usege in this hotel was ridiculous. It could be prevented in many areas. Theres a sign saying no using empty bottles to refil. This is the first hotel that does this. It was uncomfortable with me to have to bin tons of plastic bottles when they could have been refilled and reused. The rooms were spacious we were changed from room to room as I'm a wheelchair user and we needed and easier room to get to. The ramps are so steep to get to the rooms, I actually fell out of my electric wheelchair as I needed a chaperone to help my up so this didn't happen again but like my independence. The room had a super king sized bed and was clean where you could see. There was a TV in the room with an English movie channel. We took our firestick and a wifi box so we had more choice of TV for the nights we stayed in and detoxed. We got charged 250ep for a 10gig sim card in the hotel and got 50gig sim from a shop for 90ep. The hotel advertises that it changes money at reception. It does not have a facility to change money. Reception will not change money. They say they have no egyptian pounds. The only time they happily had enough money to be changed for us was on the last night when I needed Egyptian pounds to tip staff. Funny that! They seemed to have squillions of egyptian pounds in the safe then. They send you to town to change money every time you ask. I wouldn't recommend the machines that change money as we used one and it ate £20 and give us nothing back. Got told we had to go out of town for the bank to claim it back but it would have cost us around £15 for the journey in a taxi as busses aren't an option for me. We just wrote it off and put it down to experience. The beach is quite a walk and they say its the hotels beach but you need to get a ticket from security at the hotel and you're obligated to buy food and drinks from the beach bar when its free at the hotel! £4.50 for a 330ml bottle of beer! People reported to check your bill too. They have massage tables down on the beach and its super cheap. It was around £11 for a 50 min full body massage and it was really lovely and a good sports deep massage. They have 2 monkeys on chains in a tiny cage on the beach too and its so sad to see. It brought me to tears. Poor things. The best thing about the hotel are the housekeeping staff and the bar staff and the entertainment staff. They can't do enough for you. There's always some good fun entertainment going on from yoga to shooting hoops to boules and dancing. The pool was lovely and clean but the life guard staff think they own the place and told me to get off the fake grass around the pool with my wheelchair even though the waiters put tables and chairs on it at night and I have no choice to weave around them in my wheelchair to get by. The life guards have usually gone home by then. They also wouldn't let my partner put her own milk in her cuppa! You dont need to take a towel as you get a fresh one each day to use on the beach or round the pool.
